Kombinationslager Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eil. Kombinationslager
Combination warehouse The invention relates to eil. Combination warehouse
made of metal and plastics with a support bearing shell made of metal and a press-fit,
: Injected or cast-in tread made of plastics, such as B. curable
Synthetic resins or thermoplastics with or without fillers.
nahe beeinanderliegen.
The plastic bearings all suffer. the evil that they are because of the
poor thermal conductivity of the plastic for high loads or
higher temperatures are not suitable as heat build-up can easily occur for the reasons mentioned
which can lead to the destruction of the shaft and bearings. So you already have
suggested for better heat dissipation metals in the form of powder, rods or
Wire mesh. to be pressed into the plastic mass, but without always the desired one
Achieve success. The insufficient derivation of the between the bearing journal and the bearing surface
The frictional heat produced is in many cases also due to the fact that
the plastic bearing shell in the bearing bracket itself is not in close enough contact
with the metal support shell surrounding it. This insufficient touch
is partly due to the fact that the previously used
Metals have a significantly different coefficient of thermal expansion than the plastics used
deviates. In addition, the metals used, namely preferably
Iron, a lower coefficient of thermal conductivity than the current one because of its currency-related nature
not used copper alloys.
You have this
l'Ibelstand tried to remedy the fact that one with a combined steel-plastic bearing
provided ring tooth ribs protruding into the plastic on the steel support ring,
by which the pressed material ring is inextricably linked to the steel support ring and thus
should be forced to essentially only the thermal expansion of the steel ring
to follow. However, this compulsory solution was practically unsatisfactory because the
forcible connection of the pressed material with the steel ring caused by the heating
Tensions are not evened out, but only suppressed by force. It
there is thus the risk of cracking or even complete with the known proposal
Destruction of the plastic layer in the event of a temporary increase in the pressure load
of the camp. The disadvantages are avoided in the arrangement according to the invention,
that the support bearing shell is made of magnesium or its alloys. The application
of magnesium as a building material for the bearing shell has a number of notable
technical advantages in the wake, quite apart from the fact that magnesium is a domestic
Material is and is available in sufficient quantities. Magnesium and his
Alloys are particularly characterized by a very good thermal conductivity,
which is considerably higher than that of cast iron or steel. Furthermore, the magnesium shell
Connect very closely to the plastic tread, as the coefficient of thermal expansion
the magnesium alloy on the one hand and the plastics on the other hand proportionally
close to each other. The numbers in question are e.g. B. for steel - i o, for magnesium regulations
= t S and for plastics = 25. So there is no fear that even with
stronger heating of the bearing, the contact resistance of adjacent surfaces so
decreases far so that the association of the plastic layer with the metal substrate is destroyed
and the plastic sleeve or shell loosens and comes off.
Since the magnesium shell acts as an intermediate layer between the
Plastic layer and the actual bearing body is used and the coefficient of thermal expansion
of magnesium lies between steel and plastic, the magnesium shell works to a certain extent
as a compensation body, which the material with the high coefficient of expansion of
the one with the lower expansion coefficient separates.
The use of light metal, including. also magnesium alloys,
has already been proposed in itself. However, in the case of the known camps
the use of this material for a different purpose and not served as a solution
the task according to the invention, namely a compensation in the thermal expansion
create by taking advantage of the physical properties. Besides, it acts
in the known camp is not a material combination of plastic and
Metal in which alone the special physical properties of magnesium
can be of importance.
Another advantage of those used in accordance with the invention
Magnesium alloys is the softening point at low temperatures,
which. enables a particularly advantageous production of the bearing shells. According to
of the invention are therefore advantageously used those plastics whose curing
or hardening temperature close to the softening point of the magnesium alloy in question
lies. When the plastic running surface is pressed in, there is therefore a very intimate connection
with the adjacent shell made of the magnesium metal. The intimate connection between
the two substances mentioned and in particular the heat dissipation capacity can be found in
can be improved in a known manner in that the bearing shell on the
The side facing the plastic running surface is provided with shoulders or projections
is, which engage in this tread, without, however, protruding to the surface.
Furthermore, as is also known, additional metal parts,
z. B. magnesium metal powder, or other fillers solidifying the bearing shell,
such as fibers, chips and the like, or substances that improve the running properties,
such as graphite. The one that is advantageously designed with a small wall thickness
Plastic tread can be pressed in or using castable plastics
