Dieser Kanal mündet in eine Erweiterung m von eiförmiger oder sonst geeigneter Gestalt, aus welchem ein Kanal η mit Luftablafshahn ο und Stutzen q weiterführt. Von dem Kanal / zweigt ein Kanal r mit Absperrhahn s ab, der zu einem Vertheilungsstück t führt. Letzteres besteht aus einem Gehäuse u mit sechs Abschlufsstutzen u ^] u ². . . u ^β, von denen der erstere u^l durch ein Rohr ν mit einem Druckreducirventil w, das mit der Kohlensäureflasche b verbunden ist, communicirt. Der zweite Stutzen u¹ dient zur Verbindung des Verfheilungsstückes t mit dem Manometer x, während die Stutzen w³ und m⁴ durch Schläuchey mit den Kanälen r und die Stutzen w⁵ und m° durch Schläuche \ mit den Stutzen q verbunden sind. Am unteren Ende der Schiene g ist eine Console a¹ angebracht, welche einerseits als Führung für den Flaschen- oder Fafsteller b¹ dient, andererseits das Lager für den Drehzapfen c^l des Fufshebels d¹, der zur Bewegung des Tellers b^l dient, enthält. Um einen vollständig hermetischen Abschlufs zwischen Flasche und Korkpresse erzielen zu können, ist die untere Mündung der Korkpresse mit einer Gummidichtung f^l versehen. Gebraucht wird der Apparat in folgender Weise: Zunächst wird der in die Korkmaschine geworfene Kork mittelst des Hebels g^} so weit in dem Korkpressungskanal i herabgedrückt, dafs er den Kanal luftdicht verschliefst, alsdann setzt man die gefüllte Flasche oder das gefüllte Gefäfs auf den Teller b^l und drückt dieselben mittelst des Fufshebels d¹ fest gegen die Mündung des Korkpressungskanals, so dafs auch hier ein hermetischer Abschlufs erzielt wird.The apparatus consists essentially of a frame a, to which the carbonic acid bottle b is fastened in a suitable manner by means of a clamp c.
