Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf Wälzlagerabdichtungen und insbesoi.dere auf die Ausbildung eines Dichtringes für Axialwälzlager mit einer Laufscheibt, die am Außenumfang einen hechgezogenen Rand aufweist, der den Wälzkörperkäfig und die zweite Laufscheibe mit Spiel umschließt. Dem Dichtring obliegt neben seiner zweckgemäßen Aufgabe noch die zusätzliche Aufgabe, die Lagerteile zusammenzuhalten, so daß das Lager für Transport und Einbau eine bauliche Einheit bildet. Zur Lösung dieser gemeinsamen Aufgabe weist der auf den hochgezogenen Laufscheibenrand aufschiebbare Dichtring ein Paar sjch nach außen erstreckende, zur Anlage an den beiderseitigen Lagerstützflächen ausgebildete Dichtlippen und einen sicn einseitig von der Bohrung aus radial nach innen erstreckenden Flansch auf, der bei montiertem DiCiitring den Luftspalt zwischen dem hochgezogenen Rand der einen Laufscheibe und denn Außenrand der anderen Laufscneibe überdeckt und somit den Spalt abdichtet und gleichzeitig die eingelegte Laufscheibe und damit auch den Käfig mit den Wälzkörpern in der ersten Laufscheibe hält.The innovation relates to roller bearing seals and insbesoi.dere to the formation of a sealing ring for Axial roller bearing with a running disk, which has a drawn edge on the outer circumference, which encloses the rolling element cage and the second running disk with play.
