Description
Suspension of electrical cables on excavators and similar devices The invention relates to a suspension of the electrical supply cables in excavators and similar devices with an upper frame rotatably arranged on a chassis, which the operating current by means of one it on the upper frame and one in the chassis horizontal plane rotatably mounted, the supply cable supporting boom supplied will.
It is already known to transfer the electric current from the fixed chassis on the rotating upper frame of excavators is more flexible Cables to operate, which are suspended in an arc and when rotating the top frame give in accordingly. To keep the cable moving as little as possible when turning To achieve the top frame, it has already been proposed to attach the cables to each suspend a rotatable boom attached to the upper frame and to the chassis, which rotate when the upper frame is swiveled according to the pull of the cable. In this version, the vertical distance between the two ends of the jib remains the same Swiveling of the upper frame unchanged.
According to the invention it is proposed that the lower one on the chassis mounted boom is pivotable in the horizontal and vertical plane and on which upper pivoting boom is suspended by means of a special support member. The support member can consist of two ropes that are attached to a boom by means of are connected to a rocker that can be rotated about a horizontal axis. It is also useful to design the pivoting boom as tubes that accommodate the cables and to both sides of which the support members are arranged.
The advantage of the invention is that the cable has no slack can be guided from the lower to the upper boom without affecting the swivel range the upper frame is impaired.
The invention is shown in the drawing in .einem embodiment.

The chassis b, which is movable on crawler tracks, carries the excavator upper frame d by means of a slewing ring c. To transfer the electrical current from the chassis b to the upper frame d , a tubular boom with its outer end upwardly curved by means of a universal joint piece f with a vertical axis g and a horizontal axis 11 is mounted pivotably in the vertical and horizontal planes. On the excavator upper frame d, the tubular boom i, which is curved downward with its outer end, is mounted pivotably in the horizontal plane. The supply cables k are led from the chassis b through the tubular brackets and i to the upper frame d. So that the boom mounted on the chassis b does not fall down, it is connected to the boom i mounted on the upper frame d by means of two cables l. These ropes are firmly connected to the boom and attached to the boom l by means of the rockers rotatable on the boom i about a horizontal axis. In order to prevent unintentional turning of the boom i and e, the boom l is for example provided with a drive o which is derived from the pivot drive p of the upper frame d. If necessary, the boom can also be provided with a drive. In order to save the drive for the boom, the chassis b, as shown in Fig. 3 and 4, is provided with a shoe g, on which the boom runs up when swiveling inadvertently, for example when driving on sloping terrain, and thus due to the rising run-up surface is inhibited in its movement. However, the shoe g does not come into effect when the boom e is raised while the superstructure d is pivoted. As shown in Fig. 2, the arms e and i pivot when the upper frame d is pivoted; and the decreasing distance between the exit points of the cables h and the brackets i and e is compensated for by the fact that the free end of the bracket e is raised as a result of its rotatability about the axis lt . The movement of the cable is limited to a minimum, so that damage to the cable as a result of the movements when rotating the upper frame d is avoided.
It can be advantageous to route the cables from the chassis b through the vertical axis of rotation of the universal joint piece f through into the boom.
