Device for making colored candles Die for making
colored dipping candles, which are still widely used by hand, have a number of
Disadvantages, in particular that the performance is limited, the
Uniformity of work depends on the skill of the worker and through
the hardly avoidable contact with the paint can damage the health of the
Workers are to be feared. That is why manual work is also done through machine work
already replaced in such a way that one means of the finished candles in larger numbers
of a car led over a trough filled with colored candle mass and in this
Position immersed in the trough and raised it again and then cooled. This will
although a progress has been made compared to manual labor, at least it allows
known machine does not work continuously and therefore works more cumbersome.
überziehenden Kerzen an seiner stetig umlaufenden geschlossenen Förderkette aufgehängt,
The invention thus ensures continuous and particularly rapid
and even work. According to the invention, the finished cast and to
hanging candles on its continuously revolving closed conveyor chain,
which has individual reversal points with vertical chain conveyance, at which in
First a container is attached to the conveying direction at a distance one behind the other,
which contains the colored coating mass and then a container with cooling liquid,
into which the candles, which have been lifted from the coating compound, are immersed after a short air cooling
and in which they are left for a considerable distance of the chain run
can, so that without loss of time a sufficient cooling and securing a good
Surface quality is guaranteed.
Behälter k an-
geordnet, der mit der flüssigen und gefärbtel3
Tauchmassee gefüllt ist. Im Beispiel ist c
Behälter k in senkrechten Führungen ve
The invention is shown in the drawing by way of example, and schematically. The candles a to be coated are expediently fastened in larger numbers next to one another by holders b to carriers d which are attached to a conveyor chain that continuously revolves in the direction of arrow A. At one end of the circuit, the chain is guided vertically downwards over a reversing roller g and then upwards again, and at this reversal point a a container k is attached. arranged with the liquid and colored 3
Immersion mass is filled. In the example, c
Container k in vertical guides ve
slidable and is controlled by a Kurheltrieli- "Z '
periodically moved up and down. This ensures that the candles are immersed in the paint mass at a high operating speed compared to the speed of rotation of the chain and are just as quickly pulled out vertically again, which experience has shown has a favorable effect on the uniformity of the paint coating. After emerging behind the turning point, the chain c is again guided horizontally for a certain distance and then again guided over two spaced reversing rollers 1 so that it leads the candle vertically downwards again, then a little horizontally and then vertically upwards again. Below this second reversal point, a second container L is arranged, which is filled with cooling liquid (water) 1t. The candles are immersed in the water bath after they have been pre-cooled in the air for a short time after the colored coating has been applied. By the position of the water container and the running speed of the chain, the time of air cooling can be regulated as desired, furthermore by the speed of the chain and the length of the container, the time of the final cooling and hardening of the coating. Practical experience has shown that the gentle quenching in the immersion tank produces an excellent high-gloss coating. The finished candles are removed from the chain on the horizontal chain section following the water tank.
