This is especially true for the area behind the front chain stars where the plate chain »* from the top and bottom of the plate is wedge-shaped in the direction of movement converge. Bends of the last end of the plates forming a polygon at least in the area of the inlet zone Plate chains affect the pressing process. Due to the tension of the plate chains, no matter how strong, via special tension elements this deficiency, known as the polygon effect, cannot be avoided at least when high throughput speeds are required will. If you reduce the diameter of the support rollers and thus the length of the plates of the plate chain, to achieve the polygon effect to suppress, the support rollers bend at high pressures (required in modern technology) by what inadmissible alternating bending stresses of the support rollers and also the .picks of the pressed goods disturbing, namely in the sense of a non-uniformity, influenced. A correction by the fact that the plates have a cross-section which is thicker in the middle than at the edges in relation to the deflection of the support rollers, is expensive and at least not possible when the continuous press is to be used for different prepressing pressures.
The invention is based on the object of designing a continuous press of the basic structure described so that that even at high press pressures disturbing effects due to deflection of the support rollers do not occur and also the one described above Polygon effect is completely at least largely avoidable.

Manufacture of chipboard, fiberboard and the like = * consisting of Press upper part and press lower part with in the press upper part and in the press lower part via deflection stars endlessly revolving, driven plate chains, their plates in the press area and at Pressing process are supported by means of support rollers (e.g. connected to cylinder piston arrangements) and can be pressed against one another. The invention consists in that the back-up rollers at the same time designed as a hydrostatic bearing and also made of fer * practicing Core and rotatably attached to the core, zy7 '' ~> n, The jacket is hydrostatically supported on the core. A preferred embodiment of the invention is the arrangement so that the jacket is only on the side facing the plates (more precisely on this circumference) hydrostatically on the core is supported. In order to suppress the polygon effect described at the outset, the invention recommends making the arrangement so that the jackets of the support rollers have an outer diameter which is small compared to the length of the plates in the direction of movement. If you realize this design, you can without further ado and without disturbance of the pressing process by the polygon effect also a wedge-shaped inlet for the to be pressed Realize well and feed the plates to the deflection stars without interference. In general, the cores of the support rolls and consequently also the jackets over the entire width of the Let the plates of the plate chains run through in one piece at right angles to their direction of movement. That is structurally simple and sufficient Ib in general all requirements when it comes to the production of chipboard, fiberboard and the like of the usual width. The plate chains can easily be wrapped in additional armored belts guided over deflection and drive drums be, these armored belts can act as a drive for the plate chains during the pressing process. The continuous press illustrated in the figures is particular Intended for the pre-pressing of the continuously scattered hats in the course of the manufacture of chipboard, fiberboard and the like. It is suitable for high compression pressures of, for example, J50 kg / cm and more designed. In its basic structure, the press initially consists of an upper press part 2 and a lower press part 2nit in the upper part of the press 2 and in the lower part of the press j5 via deflection stars 4 endlessly revolving, driven plate chains 5 · The plates 5a of these plate chains 5 are in the pressing area and at Preßvorcang supported by means of support rollers 6 and against each other compressible. It is only indicated in the figures that these Aöstützwalzen 6 are connected to cylinder piston assemblies 7.
Dabei 1st die hydrostatische Abstützung des MantelsFrom a comparative consideration of FIGS. 3 and 4, it can be seen one that the support rollers 6 are designed at the same time as hydrostatic bearings and to this end from a fixed core 8 and on the core 8 rotatably mounted, cylindrical jacket 9, which ibt supported on the core 8 hydrostatically. The hydrostatic Pressure medium is symbolically denoted in the figures by ρ. This is the hydrostatic support of the jacket

Im übrigen kann einer oder können mehrere der Tlmlenksterne 4 angetrieben sein.a support roller 6 carried out only on the side facing the plates 5a, the other side remains unpressurized. This is a particularly simple embodiment. The hydrostatic pressure of these hydrostatic bearings is adjusted so that all the loads to be absorbed are easily absorbed. As a result, the jacket does not experience any deflection. It can be seen from FIG. 5 that these jackets Q of the support rollers 6 have an outer diameter which is small compared to the length of the plates 5a in the direction of movement. The direction of movement is indicated by arrows 10. As a result, disruptive polygon effects do not occur when they run into the deflection stars 4 or when the plate chains 5 converge in a wedge-shaped manner. The arrangement can be made without difficulty so that the plates are always supported statically determined on the support rollers. This can be achieved, for example, in that the plate length on the one hand and the diameter and the spacing of the support rollers on the other hand are set up in such a way that each plate can be supported on two support rollers. In the exemplary embodiment according to the preferred Ausführungsfonn of the invention, the mantles 9 and the cores 8 of the Abstutzwalzen 6 across the width of the plates 5a extend transversely to the direction of movement 1O S in such a manner that both of the cores 8 through as well as the jackets 9 in this direction in one piece. In the exemplary embodiment, it is only indicated that the plate chains 5 are wrapped by additional armored bands 12 guided via deflection and drive drums 11, these armored bands also functioning as a drive for the plate chains 5 during the pressing process. In addition, one or more of the pivoting stars 4 can be driven.
