und die Besatzung vor dem starken Luftzug zu schützen, dazu über, die Gefechtsstände
vollkommen zu verkleiden. Man blieb aber meistens beim horizontalen Drehring oder
hat in weniger zahlreichen Fällen, besonders im Rumpfbug, abdeckbare, in Richtung

Gefechtsständen nicht ausreichend. Gefechtsstände für bewegliche Waffen mit in Richtung
der Flugzeugquerachse verlaufender Drehachse dagegen haben einen geringeri Schußbereich

Durch die Erfindung ist ein Gefechtsstand für bewegliche Waffen in
Flugzeugen gefunden, der in bezug auf,den Luftwiderstand und damit die Flugzeuggeschwindigkeit,
auf den Schußbereich und auch auf die Raumverhältnisse im Innern allen bisherigen
Gefechtsständen weit überlegen ist. Der erfindungsgemäße Gefechtsstand ist wie beim
oben erwähnten Gefechtsstand kuppelförmig abgedeckt und die Waffe in der Kuppelwandung
gelagert. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Kuppeldrehachse ganz oder annähernd
in der Flugzeuglängsachse oder pärallel zu ihr liegt. Ein solcher Gefechtsstand
ist besonders wertvoll als Bug- oder Heckstand von Flugzeugen, da er dann vollkommen
im Rumpfstrack liegen kann, also keinen zusätzlichen Widerstand hat, und außerdem
einen Schußbereich besitzt, der eine Halbkugel oder sogar noch mehr beträgt, wenn
die Waffe in .der Kuppelwandung verschiebbar ist. Die Gefechtskuppel kann aus einer
Hohlkugelhaube
und einer Holill:tigelzone bestehen, wobei die
auf Rollen o. dgl. gelagerte Haube bzw. Zone
sich beim Verschieben der Waffe mitbewegt.
Als Lafette oder Waffenträger für die ver-
schiebbare Waffe kann die Kuppelwandung,
d. h. der in ihr angeordnete Schießschlitz, be-
nutzt werden. Die Waffe kann aber auch
von einem schwenkbaren Bügel getragen wer-
den, dessen Scliwenl@achse senkrecht zur Kup-
peHreliaclise steht und dessen Form mit der
Erzeugenden der einen Drehkörper, vorzugs-
«-eise eine Halbkugel, darstellenden Kuppel
übereinstimmt. Bei _hiwendung eines Schlit-
zes zuni Verschieben der Waffe kann eine in
ihln mit der Wafte verschiebbare, an sich
belcamite Abdeelctuig angeordnet sein.
Diese sowie die übrigen in den Unter-
a_iisprüchen gekennzeichneten Ausführungen
gehören nur in @-erbindung finit dein Gegen-
stan.c1, des Anspruch: i zur geschützten Er-
findung.
In der Zeichnung isst ein Ausführungsbei-
spiel einer erfindungsgemäßen Gefechtskuppel
da r-estellt. und zwar zeigen die Abb. i und 2
iin senkrechten Mittelschnitt und in Vorder-
-tusicllt eine den Rumpfiäu- bildende Gefeellts-
klippel.
Der vordere Teil der Flugzeugkanzel a ist
als drehbare, zweekniäf)ig auf Rollen gela-
gerte Kuppel b ausgebildet. Kuppeldrehachse
ist die Flugzeuglängsachse oder eine ihr pa-
rallele Achse. Der Lafetten:chlitz d, in (lein
die Waffe c verschiebbar ist. läuft. fast über
Ilie ganze Kuppel und wird heim Drehen der-
in jede beliebige Lage, z. B. (I`, ge-
l.racht. Dadurch, da13 die Waffe im Punkt e
kardanlsch gelagert ist, hat sie schon ohne
Verschiebung einen Schußkegel f, der selbst-
veri#tandlich grober oder kleinef sein kann,
als in Abb. i dargestellt ist. Die Verschie-

der Waffe c, der sich aus der Drehung der

Die, Kuppel kann auch zerlegt sein in eiheil

Kalottenteil, der die Waffe trägt, so daß

U u1 Soll dellt Gefechtsstand aus flach allen
Seiten gute Sicht zu haben, wird plan die
ganze Kuppel, gegebenenfalls auch die be-
nachbarten Teile der Kanzel, aus durchsichti-
gem Werkstoff herstellen. Selbstverständlich
ka1111 auch die Schlitzabdeckung aus durch-
sichtigein und biegsamem Werkstoff bestehen.
Gerade wegen der außerordentlich guten
Sichtverhältnisse in einem sehr großen Be-
reiche nach vorne, nach allen Seiten und sogar
nach rückwärts kann die Besatzung die
Schußwaffen aus dein Gefechtsstand entfer-
nen und den Gefechtsstand für andere Zwecke,
z. B. für die Navigation, für Lichthildgeräte
usw.. freimachen. Es ist ein großer Vorteil
des erfindungsgemäßen Gefechtsstandes, daß
der Innenraum von Lafetteneinbauten völlig
frei ist. Liil weiterer Vorteil ist, daß die
Kuppel der jeweiligen Forin des Luftfahr-
zeugbauteiles, in denn sie eingebaut ist, welt-
gellend angepaßt -,verden kann, so daß der
Gefechtsstand eine aero(lvnamische Güte auf-
weist, die dein Luftfalirzerig eine weit größere
Geschwindigkeit gibt, als sie bei den bis-
lierigen Gefeclitsst,in(leil unter sonst gleichen
