Gasführungsschlauch für medizinische Geräte
Es 1st bekannt, Patienten, die lntubiert oder tracheotomlert sind, mit Hilfe von Geräten au beatmen, die dem Patienten zugeführte Luft anfeuchten und anwärmen. Dies ist notwendig, da bei der genannten Beatmung von Patic ten die natürliche Anfeuchtung und Anwärmung der Atemlu±'t durch die Schleimhäute von Mund und Nase ausfällt.
Nachteilig ist bei den bekannten Geräten, daß die innerhalb der Geräte angefeuchtete und a gewärmte Luft In dem Gasführungsschlauch zwischen dem Gerät und dem Patienten abkühlt und daß dabei Wasser kondensiert. Das kondensierte Wasser vildet für den Betrieb des Geräte« und damit für den Patienten eine große Gefahr. Die Neuerung erstrebt, die beschriebe"' π Nachteile der bekannten Geräte zu vermeiden und diese Geräte so auszubilden, daß dem Patienten mit Sicherheit die Atemluft mit der gewünschten Temperatur

und der gewünschten Feuchtigkeit -zugeführt wird. Die Neuerung betrifft einen Gasführungsschlauch für medizinische Geräte, insbesondere für die Verwendung bei F&tienten, die tracheotomiert oder intubiert sind. Die Neuerung besteht darin, daß in dem Gasführungsschlauch ein flexibler, elektrischer Heizr körper angeordnet ist, durch den die Temperatur der Atemluft in der gewünschten Höhe gehalten wird. Damit wird auch die am Gerät eingestellte Feuchtigkeit für den Patienten gesichert.
Die Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch eine Ausführungsform der Neuerung.
Die Atemluft wird in dem nicht dargestellten Gerät angewärmt und angefeuchtet und strömt in Richtung des Pfeiles 1 zu. An der Anschlußtülle la des Gerätes ist der Gasführungsschlauch 2 angeschlossen, der zum Patienten führt. Innerhalb des Gasführungsschlauches 2 liegt ein flexibler, elektrischer Heizkörper 3· Dieser kann aus einer in Silicongummi eingebetteten Heizspirale bestehen. Das Ende der Heizspirale 3> bzw. deren Zuf ihrungsleitungen ** sind isoliert durch eine Übergangstülle 5 geführt, die zur Verbindung des Gasbchlauchstückes 5 mit dem Geräteanschluß-

Claims (3)

Schutzansprüche
1. Gasführungsschlauch für medizinische Geräte, insbesondere für dia Verwendung bei Patienten, die intubiert oder tracheotomiert sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Gasführungsschlauch (2) ein flexibler, elektrischer Heizkörper (3) angeordnet ist.
2. Gasführungsschlauch nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der elektrische Heizkörper (3) aus einer in Silicongummi eingebetteten Heizsp Lrale besteht.
3. Gasführungsschlauch nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Heizkörper (3) lose In dem Gasführungsschlauch (2) angeordnet ist.
