Das durch Vermischen der sauren Fluoride und der teilweise entwässerten Borsäure erhaltene Präparat ist unbeschränkt haltbar und die aus diesem Präparat gewonnenen Lösungen als Desinfektionsmittel von empfindlichen, vor allzu starker Säureeinwirkung zu bewahrenden Körpern sehr geeignet. Außer für die Konservierung von Häuten kommt das neue Desinfektionsmittel auch für zahlreiche andere naheliegende Zwecke in Betracht, wie z.
