Saatguttrockenbeize Es wurde gefunden, daß die Monocarbonsäuren der
aromatischen Reihe, z. B. Benzoesäure und ihre Substitutionsprodukte, wie Acetylsalicylsäure,
Chlorbenzoesäure usw., sehr gute Saatguttrockenbeizmittel darstellen. Man kann ihnen
zweckmäßigerweise noch andere Fungizide, wie Kupfersulfat, und inertstoffe beimischen.
Mengt man beispielsweise ;o Gewichtsteile Benzoesäure mit o Gewichtsteilen Talkum
oder 8o Gewichtsteile Acetylsalicylsäure mit 2o Gewichtsteilen Talkum, so erhält

dieser Fehlschläge mit den Monocarbonsäuren, wie z. B. der Salicylsäure, im Naßbeizverfahren
bzw. im Benetzungsverfahren ist es durchaus überraschend, daß derartige Verbindungen
im Trockenbeizverfahren so vorzügliche Wirkungen ergeben, wie dies die Ergebnisse
nachstehender Feldversuche einwandfrei zeigen:
