Brettalter Es sind bereits Brusthalter mit zwei voneinander getrennten,
durch Gummizüge miteinander verbundenen Brusttaschen bekannt. Bei diesen Brusthaltern
haben die Brusttaschen keilen- oder löffelartige Form und sind außerdem an ihren
inneren, der Brustgrube zugekehrten Rändern mit Gummizügen versehen, die in den
nach innen gerichteten Rändern der Brusttasche von den Ansatzstellen der Schulterträger
zur Verbindungsstelle der Brusttaschen verlaufen. Hierdurch wird ein Verschieben
der Brüste nach der Mitte hin verhindert. Durch das Gewicht der Brüste wird ein

unelastischen Zwischenstückes erhält man folgende Wirkung: Es .entstehen zwei völlig
getrennte Zugrichtungen, die die Brust in der gewünschten Form halten, indem der
eine Zug von oben innen, schräg auf die Brustwarze zu gerichtet ist, während der
andere Zug von innen nach oben in der Richtung der Brustwarze verläuft. Ferner sichert
der unelastische Mittelteil in der Brustgrube die angestrebte Trennung der beiden
Brüste voneinander; denn die Zugwirkungen der Rückenteile verlaufen in der Richtung
des unelastischen Teiles über die Brust hinweg, und somit können sich die beiden
Brüste nicht nach der :Mitte zu nähern. Ferner sichert der unelastische Mittelteil
den Sitz des Brusthalters, indem in das elastische System der Brusttaschen gewissermaßen
ein unelastischer Ring eingeführt wird, der sich von der Brustgrube über die Brustwarze
