Büstenhalter. Die bisher bekannt gewordenen Büstenhalter entsprechen noch nicht allen Anforderungen. Entweder passen sie sich der Körperform nur ungenügend an oder treten unter der Bekleidung störend hervor, sind unbequem im Tragen oder verschieben sich bei Bewegung. Die beiden Bänder f sind in der Mitte, wie aus Abb. i und 2 ersichtlich ist, gekreuzt und weder untereinander noch mit dem übrigen Teil des Büstenhalters fest verbunden. Zweckmäßig liegen die Zugbänder f im mittleren Teile des Büstenhalters verschiebbar eingebettet. Das zum linken Brustteil a gehörige Zugband d greift bei e am unteren Ende des Gummibandes f an, das am anderen Ende am oberen Rand derselben Brusttasche befestigt ist. Bei der rechten Brusttasche ist die gleiche Einrichtung getroffen. Die Verbindung e ist zweckmäßig lösbar und besteht vorteilhaft aus einer Hakenverbindung. Infolge -der kreuzweisen Anordnung der Gummibänder f wird der Büstenhalter in der Mitte niedergehalten und an den Brustkorb dicht angelegt: Der ausgeübte Zug pflanzt sich längs des oberen, etwa in Richtung des Zuges verlaufenden Randes des Büstenhalters bis zur Befestigungsstelle des Schultertragbandes b fort, auf welche auch der rückwärts sich erstrekkende und in den schmalen Gürtelteil c allmählich verlaufende Randteil in solcher tung zuläuft, daß die im Winkel aneinanderstoßenden oberen Ränder der Brusttasche etwa in Richtung der sich beim Tragen ergebenden Kraftkomponenten der in den Schultertr_agbändern b verlaufenden Zugkraft liegen. Auf diese Weise schmiegen sich nicht nur wie bei jedem Büstenhalter die unteren, sondern auch die oberen Ränder dem Körper an, und dies hat zur Folge, daß der Büstenhalter unverschiebbar sitzt, wenn die Form der Brusttaschen der Körperform genügend angepaßt ist.
