Brassiere. The bras that have become known so far do not yet meet all requirements. Either they do not adapt adequately to the body shape or they protrude from under clothing or they are uncomfortable to wear or shift when moving. Many of them squeeze the breasts in an unnatural way, many lie hollow in the thoracic fossa, as no means have yet been found to bring the middle part of the brassiere towards the chest without the use of restricting rods or interfering shoulder straps in the thoracic groove. keep that ugly hollow lying avoided and therefore perfect snuggling all around. is achieved, which at the same time gives good and comfortable fit for all body movements.
A brassiere has also become known which, in order to avoid the disadvantages mentioned, consists of two completely independent breast pockets, each of which is connected to the lower, essentially straight band of the pocket in question the other chest can be fastened with a fastening strap running across the chest and held in place by a shoulder strap of a known type.
But since the distance between the two breast pockets vonein other is in no way fixed in such a brassiere, this one cannot fully fulfill its purpose either; because with him a displacement of the two completely separated th parts in the transverse direction is possible and will also occur with corresponding body movements, so that the bra loses his seat and then his task is no longer fulfilled.
In contrast to this, the present invention succeeded in keeping the essential parts of the brassiere permanently connected to one another in such a way that it retains the shape given to it once and for all, best adapted to the body figure, and thereby also the bust receives this shape but that at the same time a significantly better fit is achieved, especially in its middle part, than was previously possible with any bra that was not two-part but rather connected in itself.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing Darge provides.
Fig. 1 shows a diagrammatic front view, Fig. 2 also shows a front view with a different posture, Fig. 3 shows a back view.
The two chest parts of the brassiere are marked with a, the shoulder straps with b. The latter attack the uppermost part of the chest parts and in the back on belt part c in such a position that they run approximately perpendicularly over the upper part of the chest and are thereby prevented from sliding off the shoulder.
Each of the two chest parts narrows backwards into the belt part c and is provided with an appropriately elastic drawstring d. Belt part c and tension band d run, the latter under the breasts, roughly horizontal.
On the upper edge of each part of the chest, near the middle of the brassiere, at g, an elastic band, preferably a strong elastic band f, is attached. The two straps f are crossed in the middle of the chest, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, so that the (imaginary) extension of one of these trains roughly hits the point where the shoulder strap is attached to the associated chest part , and are not firmly connected to each other or to the rest of the bra. The drawstrings f are expediently embedded in a longitudinally displaceable middle piece of the brassiere inserted between the two chest parts.
The drawstring d belonging to the left chest part a (Fig. 1) engages below the right chest part at e at the lower end of that drawstring, f, which is fastened at the other end to the upper edge of the left chest part of the holder. The same device has been applied to the right breast section. The connection e has a purpose: moderately detachable and advantageously a hook connection.
As a result of the crosswise arrangement of the trains f, the brassiere is held down in the middle and placed tightly against the chest. The exerted train is propagated along the upper edge of the brassiere, which runs approximately in the direction of the toge, to the fastening point of the shoulder strap b, on which the one extending backwards. and in the narrow belt part e gradually extending edge part in such a direction that the upper edges of the chest part abutting at an angle are approximately in the direction of the force components of the tensile force in the shoulder straps b that result when worn.
The result is that not only the lower edges nestle against the body, as is the case with that brassiere, but also those upper edges, and this means that the brassiere is immovable if the shape of the breast is somewhat similar to the shape of the body is adapted.
If, as shown, a detachable connection is provided at points e, the brassiere is easy to put on as a result of the front circuit. In the back, thanks to its narrowness, it does not bother with a deep cutout.
Instead of this front closure, some other closure, such as one in which drawstrings in the middle of the front side are connected to one another loosely, or a back closure of any known or suitable type, could also be provided. The front crossed drawstrings can simply be attached firmly or detachably to the corresponding point of the belt part or belt strap below.
The new brassiere can be made in any fabric. Because it fits snugly, its chest parts can also preferably be made of non-elastic material, for example tulle.
