aufgekittet.Prismatic rifle scope The invention relates to a prismatic rifle scope,
which is characterized by the combination of the following individually known characteristics
is: a) the magnification of the telescopic sight is i: i; b) the lens and erecting prisms
of the telescopic sight form a coherent block of glass in such a way that the beam path
inside the telescope exclusively (runs partially in the glass; c) is the prism system
composed of two Porro prisms, and on the entrance face and the exit face
of the prism system, the objective lens and the ocular lens are ground or
puttied up.
Zielfernrohre mit der Vergrößerung i : i sind an sich bekannt. Man
sonst in geeigneter Weise
Telescopic sights with the magnification i: i are known per se. Man
it only has so far. manufactured as lens telescopes. Despite the great advantages
which the telescopic sights with the magnification i: i have in that when moving
of the rifle equipped with the telescopic sight no apparent movement of the outside
of the field of view of the telescope vis-à-vis the terrain visible in the telescope
Target occurs, the known riflescopes with the magnification i: i
So far, it has not been able to generally introduce, because of the numerous dividing surfaces
between air and glass, caused by the reversal of the image in lens telescopes
cause a considerable loss of light, which can be up to 50 ° 1a.
This is a disadvantage in the prismatic rifle scope forming the subject of the invention
overcome by the fact that the lenses and erecting prisms form a coherent block of glass
form so that the beam path inside the telescope is exclusively in the glass
runs. Now, however, prism riflescopes have also become known, at
where the lens and erecting prism set form a coherent block of glass. Apart from that
from the fact that these prism riflescopes have so far not with the magnification i
: i are executed, a Sprenger prism has been used here as an erecting prism.
With such a Sprenger prism, however, the agreement must be on a reflection surface
be attached, which of the imaging light beam under oblique
Angle is taken - only a line mark can therefore be used as an agreement
because of the special shape of the Sprenger prism only line marks on the
for the attachment of the agreement only eligible reflection surfaces sharp
which are perpendicular to that through the optical entry and exit axes
lying through the plane. This disadvantage is with the riflescope according to the
Invention overcome in that the prism system is composed of two Porro prisms
is. It can thereby be achieved that the beam space cross section is perpendicular to
optical axis in the erecting prism system, regardless of where, always the
the eye lens ground to the exit surface or placed on it
circumscribed square is the same. As a result, the agreement can be made without difficulty
etched or scratched on a separating surface between the individual prisms or
otherwise in an appropriate manner
be applied. The agreement will
hit perpendicularly by the entire bundle of rays generating the image,
so that it is in the usual way with riflescopes as a line cross or similar
can be executed. Another advantage brought about by the mentioned property
an inversion system composed of two Porrö prisms is achieved
in that the new prismatic rifle scope corresponds to any distance
can be measured by the eye. It can therefore take the place of ordinary rifles
of the visor at a great distance from the eye, so that the wider environment
of the field of vision as a complement to it in the same way
is as if an ordinary sight and front sight were provided.
The peculiar combination of the three mentioned features, which characterizes the new prism telescopic sight,
it therefore implies that it unites in itself all the advantages which are common to the ordinary
Sights with rear sight and front sight as well as the ordinary rifle scope are inherent.
The agreement is expedient in the case of the telescopic sight according to the invention
so arranged in the glass path that between the eye lens and agreement at least two
Reflecting surfaces lie, which is due to the composition of the prism system from two
Porro prisms is made possible. The dimensions are advantageously chosen in such a way that
that the diameter of the lenses does not exceed 1f9 of the glass path, the greatest width extension
is no more than 1: 4.5 of the glass path.
In the figures of the drawing is an expedient embodiment
of the new riflescope.

of the lines <-1-B and C-D of Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. Fig. 9 is a graphical one
Representation of the prism body, while in Fig. Io the beam path after development
is shown in the plane of the drawing.
rechten Winkels senkrecht steht.
liegen dann die Reflexionsflächen 6, 7 und B.The prism body is expediently made up of three individual prisms 1, 2 and
3 composed, of which the objective lens 4. carrying straight prism one
has inclined reflection surface 5 inclined at 45 ° to the axis. To this
Prism i is the prism shown in Figs. 3 and 4. in two views: 2 cemented,
which two opposing reflection surfaces inclined at 45 ° to the axis
6 and 7, which, however, are rotated by 90 ° against each other, as shown in Fig.
3 and 4 can be recognized. The one shown in Fig. 2 is then attached to this prism 2
Prism 3 cemented, which has a similar shape to prism i. the
As Fig. 9 and Figs. 5 and 6 show, prism bodies are cemented together in such a way that
that the inclined surface 5 of the prism i with the inclined surface 6 of the prism 2 one
right angle and the inclined surface 7 of the prism 2 with the inclined surface 8
of the prism 3 also form a right angle, the edge of which to the edge of the former
right angle is vertical. On the perpendicular to the axis of the prism 3
The outer lens 9 is cemented or ground on the exit surface of the prism 3.
The agreement io is expediently attached to the surface on which the two
Prism body i and 2 are cemented together. Between lens 9 and accord
then are the reflective surfaces 6, 7 and B.
