Blankglühtopf mit Innen- und Außendeckel Zum Abschluß von Glühtöpfen
mit Innen-und Außendeckel wird vielfach Kohle, z. B. in. Pulverform, verwendet,
Bright annealing pot with inner and outer lid For closing annealing pots
with inner and outer cover is often coal, z. B. in. Powder form, used,
which is sprinkled on the inner lid of the pot, especially on its edge.
In the known incandescent pots, the sealing powder falls into the from the carrier of the
Outer lid formed around the wall of the pot by placing it almost entirely
fills. Before the annealing pot is opened, the main part of the sealing powder is
eliminated. But there is practically enough powder left over, which
when lifting the lid over the sealing cup filled with sealing powder
falls into the pot and there on the material to be annealed and adversely affects it.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided in that the
Inner lid practically closes the sealing cup 'and on its outer edge
for receiving a sealing ring and the sealing powder lying on it according to
is bent down in a Z-shape. This is achieved; that after the onset of the
Annealed material in the pot and after closing the pot through the sealing cup
the edge is protected against the falling in of sealing powder. When opening the
The main part of the sealing powder is removed from the pot. When lifting
of the lid can now no longer collect the remaining sealing powder on the edge
get into the glow pot because it falls into the still free sealing cup. By
the invention is thus achieved that the sealing cup after closing the
Lid and when sprinkling the sealing powder remains empty and still in the
Oxygen cannot penetrate the inside of the pot while it is glowing. When taking off
the lid, the falling sealing powder is absorbed by the cup
and cannot get into the inside of the pot, so that the
bright annealed surface of the objects is avoided.
und damit die Wirkung der Dichtuni=: tasse beim Abheben des Deckels vernichten,,:;
It has already been proposed to use glow pots with inner and outer lids
to provide, in which the carrier this outside: lid with the pot wall a
for receiving the sealant serving seal: forming cup in which the
the curved edge of the annealing pot lid protrudes. The sealing cup is not here
with powder, so: Bern filled with liquid. But the facility is also not
Suitable for powder seals, because when the powder is sprinkled on, the sealing cup
fills. When the lid is lifted off, the powder falling from the edge of the lid would be released
can no longer be picked up by the sealing cup because it is already with
Powder is filled, but get inside the pot and
there
contaminate the bare surface of the annealed objects. The coal powder would
get into the interior of the annealing furnace despite the arrangement of a sealing cup
and thus the effect of the seal =: destroy cup when the lid is lifted ,,:;
An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the figure.
The bright annealing pot I has a collar 2 with recesses 3 and q. for inclusion each
a lid. The collar: is below the upper edge 5 of the glow pot I
this z. B. attached by welding. The lower the collar on the glow pot
is, the deeper the sealing cup 6. The lid closing the annealing pot
7 is cranked at its edge and forms a carrier 8 for a sealing ring
9, which can for example consist of asbestos. There is a layer over the cover 7
I o: arranged from coal, which .sich up to the edge of the lid or the pot
extends. To open the glow pot, after removing the two upper ones, it is not necessary
first removed the main part of the carbon layer and then the
D.cover7 removed together with the asbestos ring. Provided coal during operation
or should fall when removing the lid, it does not fall into the
Glow pot, but in the sealing cup 6 ... '' The invention is not related to the one drawn
Exemplary embodiment bound. The collar can also have other shapes and in other
Way, as it is in the exemplary embodiment, on the outside of the glow pot
be attached. It can for example be screwed or riveted to this.
