Description

Process for dyeing wound material made of cellulose synthetic silk, linen or hemp in the form of packages with vat dyes in apparatus. Dyeing through of yarn made of linen, hemp: or cellulose artificial silk in the form of cross wraps with So far, vat dyes have always posed difficulties because of the crossing points of the threads and often the threads themselves were not dyed through. Tried this evil so far one has to counteract by putting the winding material with suspensions of the unküpten The dye clumped and only then reduced. However, it still showed the above errors, albeit to a lesser extent, d. H. at the crossing points the threads still remained small uncoloured areas, and stronger threads were still not completely colored.

The present method is now achieved that also to the said crossing points a perfect coloration is achieved. Also the Threads themselves are dyed significantly better than with the previous padding process.

This new process consists in using the above-mentioned vat dye padding liquor by boiling it to foam and this dye foam to act on the winding material leaves. The dye foam penetrates the interior of the threads also at the crossing points on, and the dye particles are carried into the interior of the filaments. Of the The dye used is made into a paste with a liquid foaming agent. This suspension is then diluted with water in the dyeing machine that the amount of foam produced by boiling the diluted solution is sufficient to to put the material to be dyed completely under foam. Depending on the type of material being wound the goods treated in this bubble bath for 30 to 60 minutes. Is the material to be dyed sufficient permeated with dye, it is made up with water and the reduction is carried out of the dye required amount of caustic soda and hydrosulfite at one temperature from 5o to 6o'C added. When the reduction is complete, the process is finished as usual. Embodiment for dyeing a cheese according to the new method, consisting from foam treatment, dyeing and aftertreatment 5 g of indanthrene brilliant green are obtained B (Schultz, Dye Tables, 7th Edition, No. 1269) dissolved in 21 water and then added 2o g of Marseilles soap as a foaming agent. This liquor is used for cooking brought and treated the coil in boiling foam bath for about z hour.

The foam bath liquor is then topped up with water to z o 1, and on it i 50 cc sodium hydroxide solution at 38 ° Be and 30 g hydrosnlfit added. In this liquor, dyeing is carried out for 40 minutes at 60.degree. C., then by means of Vacuum 2 minutes a'.b. # - sucked and then rinsed for 5 minutes: .- # After dyeing will the coil with .t? 1st liquor in the i o g fatty alcohol sulfbnate "for soaping and i o g of sodium perborate are contained as an oxidizing agent, for i o minutes 60 ° C and then treated for 10 minutes at boiling temperature. This is again Rinsed for about 5 minutes and then spun and dried.

Since only about a fifth of those involved in carrying out this procedure previously known dyeing process required for the use of the padding liquor, is, apart from the better coloration, there is also a substantial saving in chemicals achieved.
