Der in dem Patent No. 41415 beschriebene Ventilstopfen, welcher mit einer Durchbohrung versehen ist, deren nach aufsen führende Oeffnung freiliegt, während die nach innen in die Flasche gehende, durch ein elastisches Band, ein Ventil oder eine Klappe geschlossen gehalten wird, läfst sich mit geringer Aenderung zum Sterilisiren von Flüssigkeiten in mit dem Stopfen verschlossener Flasche verwenden. Die Abänderung besteht darin, dafs die Anordnung des Ventilverschlusses gegen die beschriebene gerade umgekehrt ist. Auf der Zeichnung ist ein abgeänderter Ventilstopfen dargestellt.
