Process for peeling off vat dye dyeings It is known
Peel vat dye dye from the fiber by removing the dyed fabric
and the like. Treated in a liquor, which alkali and a reducing agent, z. B.
Alkali hydrosulfite contains. Some of the linked dye goes into the
Fleet, but also partly pulls back onto the fabric, so that in many cases only
an insufficient effect is obtained.
Farbstoff
adsorbiert. It has now been shown that dyeings of vat dyes in
very advantageously by means of alkaline reducing agents such as hydrosulfites,
containing liquors can be deducted if you make sure that in the withdrawal liquor
The alkali contained in the treatment was largely blunted by magnesium salts towards the end of the treatment
or is neutralized. Magnesium sulfate and
Magnesium chloride has also proven to be particularly advantageous because it causes decomposition
of the hydrosulfite is avoided and the resulting magnesium hydroxide. dye
adsorbed.
Beispiel i Ein mit 2o°/, Indanthrenblau 5 G Teig
(vgl. G. S c h u 1 t z, Farbstoff tabellen, 7.
Man spült

Äthylenoxyd auf i Mol. Octodecvlalkohol
erhaltenen Kondensationsproduktes enthält. Hierauf setzt man 5 Teile kristallisiertes
Particularly beneficial effects are achieved if the peeling liquor is highly polymeric compounds which strongly inhibit the absorption of the leuco compounds of the vat dyes on the fiber, such as polymeric ethylene oxide or condensation products of ethylene oxide with reactive compounds; the z. B. can be obtained according to French patent 727: 202, adds. The amounts to be used of alkali, reducing agents and the additives mentioned, as well as the temperature of the stripping liquor and the duration depend on the respective conditions, e.g. B. according to the depth of the color to be removed. EXAMPLE i A cotton fabric dyed with 20% indanthrene blue 5 G (cf. G. Schu 1 tz, Dye Tables, 7th Edition, No. 1238) is treated for 1/2 hours at the boiling temperature in a liquor which has iooo parts water i2 parts caustic soda from do ° Be and q. Contains parts of sodium hydrosulfite. Then 10 parts of crystallized magnesium sulfate are added to the liquor and the fabric is treated for a further half an hour at the same temperature. It is then rinsed, expediently with water, which contains some sodium hydrosulfite, and the goods are dried. The color is peeled off the second time. Example 2 -A with io% Indanthrenbrillantgrün B dopp. Dough (see FIG. G. Schultz, Farstofftabellen, 7th edition, no. I269) dyed cotton fabric is treated for 1/2 hour at 9o to 95 'C in a liquor which contains contains i2 parts of 401 vol. of sodium hydroxide solution and 4 parts of sodium hydrosulfite and 3 parts of a product held by polymerization of ethylene oxide in the presence of alkali for every 1,000 parts of water, -After half an hour, ioüi1,2 magnesium chloride is added and. treated .' oh # @% hour at 90 to 95 ° C. The exercise has largely been removed. -, .- the dyeing is done afterwards in a liquor containing 3 parts of the calcium salt of the sulphonic acid of dimethylphenylbenzylammonium sulphanhydride as well as 12 parts of sodium hydroxide solution at 40 ° B6 and 4 parts of sodium hydrosulphite per 100 parts of water, for 1j2 hour at 95 ° C, so the peeling effect is further improved. Example 3 A fabric dyed with 101 / o indanthrene brilliant violet 2 R double dough (cf. G. Schultz, Dye Tables, 7th Edition, No. 1265) is treated for 1/2 hour at 9o to 95 ° C. in a liquor which contains 12 parts of sodium hydroxide solution of 40% Be, 4 parts of sodium hydrosulfite and 3 parts of a condensation product obtained by the action of 20 moles of ethylene oxide on 1 mole of octodecyl alcohol on 100,000 parts of water. Then 5 parts of crystallized magnesium sulphate are added and the treatment is continued for 1/2 hour at 90 ° 95 ° C. A very good Aby: yeast is obtained. Indigo dyes on wool can also be peeled off in the same way.
