Lösungen, insbesondere von WasserstoffsuperoxydlösungenSolutions, especially of hydrogen peroxide solutions
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 8. Februar 1930 abPatented in the German Empire on February 8, 1930
The bleaching of lumps of rabbit hair has heretofore been an unsolved problem. When bleaching with the normal, weakly alkaline, containing hydrogen peroxide as a bleaching agent Badly colored and uneven shades of color are obtained in baths. The loss of hydrogen peroxide is very high. The special ones Difficulties presented by the bleaching of this material are arguably chief ones due to the fact that the hair was previously treated with nitric acid or mercury nitrate or also other nitrates have to be pickled for the purpose of fiI-zening. Mainly Mercury nitrate is used for this purpose. When hydrogen peroxide meets with the stained hair, especially when staining with mercury salt has taken place, now occur various decomposition reactions that the very cause heavy bath consumption and discoloration.
Treatment with alkaline baths also affects the nature of the Hair unfavorable.
According to the invention, acidic, active Oxygen-releasing solutions, especially acidic hydrogen peroxide solutions, the Contains dissolved aluminum salts, used as a bleach bath.
It has been found that, surprisingly, an addition of potassium alum to a hydrogen peroxide solution has the success that with an acid reaction a very good one Whitening effect in the treatment of stained rabbit hair stumps is achieved. It lighter tones are obtained than in the usual alkaline solutions with ammonia, Addition of water glass and the like. The good quality of the goods is completely retained. In no case is the hard grip caused by the alkaline baths. The consumption of hydrogen peroxide is relatively low. However, it changes quite a lot with nature of the bleached goods.
Der Bleichgrad kannThese acidic, alum-infused bleach baths have also been used for bleaching dead human hair as well as woolen yarn. In particular, it has been shown that the products remain undamaged, whereas the consistency of the same bleached goods always noticeable when using the usual alkaline hydrogen peroxide baths is affected. The degree of bleaching can
B. Aluminiumchlorid, Aluminiumsulfat, Natriumalaun, Natriumaluminiumchlorid u. a., verwendet werden. Statt die Bleichung" mit ίο sauren Wasserstoffsuperoxydlösungen vorzunehmen, können als Badflüssigkeit auch andere saure, aktiven Sauerstoff abgebende Bäder Verwendung finden.may be a little weaker than with the alkaline bleach, but it stands the considerably better quality of the goods bleached according to the invention. Instead of potassium alum, other soluble aluminum salts, e.g. B. aluminum chloride, Aluminum sulfate, sodium alum, sodium aluminum chloride, and others can be used. Instead of the bleaching "with ίο make acidic hydrogen peroxide solutions, Other acidic, active oxygen-releasing baths can also be used as bath liquid.
AusführungsbeispieleEmbodiments
i. Dark hats made of rabbit hair are placed in a bleaching solution which contains ι ° / 0 hydrogen peroxide and ι ° / 0 potassium alum. The reaction of this solution is ao weakly acidic.
The bleach goods is treated in this bath for 24 hours at 30 0 C and experiences a very strong bleaching without suffering in quality damage. The soft feel of the raw material is completely retained. The color effect achieved is even and beautiful. Bath consumption: 10 to 20% of the originally present hydrogen peroxide.
If you bleach, as before, in alkaline baths, the bleaching effect is by far not so good. In addition, the material becomes hard. In most cases, the Pieces in such baths also discolored. The consumption of the bath is also significant higher than in the method according to the invention.
Dark bed springs are placed in a bath containing 0.5 ° / 0 hydrogen peroxide containing 4.0 next to 0.25 ° / 0 alum and 0.25% of sodium aluminum chloride. The solution is weakly acidic.
After 24 hours of treatment at 30 ° C., the material has already been heavily lightened without any reduction in quality.
If one bleaches in the usual alkaline solutions, then the consumption of hydrogen peroxide is about 50 0 Z 0 higher, without the bleaching success being any better. On the other hand, if an alkaline bath is used under these conditions, signs of destruction can already be seen.
Sodium perborate has already been proposed to be added to the bleach liquor in addition to free alkali and Add so small amounts of aluminum salts, aluminum hydroxides or aluminates to soaps that no excretions occur (patent 313 541). An alkaline bath there but not the desired ones even in the presence of small amounts of dissolved aluminum salts Effects. Furthermore, the Austrian patent specification 65 734 suggests the preservation of active ones Oxygen-containing solutions, those with an insoluble compound of aluminum or to put tin. The surprising fact that it is for * animal bleaching Fibers with acidic hydrogen peroxide baths are of crucial importance, Using baths which contain aluminum salts in dissolved form is from this patent specification not to be found.
Finally, it has already been proposed (British patent specification 285028) that the known Hair staining with mercury salts and nitric acid by treatment with neutral or acidic hydrogen peroxide baths in the presence of oxygen carriers, among which aluminum salts are also mentioned, to be replaced, the Concentration of the hydrogen peroxide and the catalyst for the purpose of a pickling effect evoke was adapted. On the other hand, it is the new procedure a bleaching process, preferably a bleaching of already after the nitrate process pickled good. It is a necessary condition for this procedure that bleaching is carried out in an acid bath, and furthermore that 9 » Aluminum salts are present in solution. The invention makes it possible when using the Previously common pickling method, unsurpassed for achieving flexing and felting ability is to achieve excellent bleaching without damaging the goods. This bleaching method was by the above Pickling process not suggested.
