Description
Der Öffnungsdruck betrage etwa ioo at. Injection valve for internal combustion engines Many attempts have been made to replace the sealing piston of a needle nozzle with a membrane or a corrugated tube. In all such applications of simple diaphragms, the needle seat is stressed far too much, for the following reason: The needle of a compressorless diesel engine should only open at a certain high opening pressure. Until then, it must be pressed onto the seat by the loading spring. This spring must therefore withstand the full pressure of the membrane up to the level of the opening pressure. Since its pressure-loaded area is many times larger than that of a loading bulb, the loading spring will also have to be so much stronger. Here is a practical example: A loading bulb with a diameter of 3 mm from a needle with a 3.51M112 seat is to be replaced by a corrugated tube. Such a size cannot be produced under approximately zoo mm = pressure-loaded cross section (diameter approximately i 6 mm). The opening pressure is about 100 atmospheres. Then the spring must exert 7 kg pressure on the needle in the first case, and in the second zoo kg, which corresponds to zoo kg in the first case, and 5750 kg qcm in the second case. A membrane must have a much larger surface. On the other hand, the achievable advantages of a membrane seal of absolute tightness and avoidance of the risk of the needle sticking are very great.
The present invention. Makes possible this while avoiding the to achieve the disadvantages described in that to seal the needle a Differential diaphragm is used, which consists of two different sizes, the needle in the opposite direction loaded membranes consists. By dimensioning the The difference in size is now in your hand, the resulting pressure on the needle to be kept as low as desired.
The further advantage of such a differential diaphragm, which is known per se there is the option of centralizing the fuel supply line from above through the nozzle to lead, so that the structurally very difficult one-sided holes in the Nozzle housing can be avoided.
In Fig. I is the simplest embodiment of such a differential diaphragm nozzle shown. A sealing seat with an inner diameter R is turned out in the housing A. The membrane D, which consists of several steel sheets, sits on it and passes through it the spacer ring E is separated from the upper, slightly smaller membrane C. These is in turn through the screw connection B with the seal seat R2 on the spacer ring pressed. The space above C and below D is under fuel pressure. the , opposite sides are connected to the atmosphere through the small holes S.
The inner edge of the two membranes @ _, through spacer ring F and Screw connection G äü.K pressed the shoulder of the needle f. The needle wears on the top End of a spring plate; which is loaded by the spring H.
In Fig. 2, the corrugated tubes D and C are used instead of the membrane. They sit firmly in the middle on the needle J and can also come off here consist of one piece. In this case, the spacer ring E must be divided into two parts. the The needle J is loosely guided at the bottom of the housing and presses against the seat piece I (: You is drilled through lengthways and has a spring plate with the loading spring H at the top, which through the screw connection B, the lower edge of which the shaft tube end on the Spacer ring presses, is included. The fuel nozzle is on this screw connection B attached. The membranes or corrugated tubes can also be exposed to the liquid pressure be burdened. The corrugated tubes can also be attached to the outer ends with the needle and be connected to the further inner with the housing. They can also be nested be. With complicated corrugated pipes that z. B. are combined with membranes, must the effective load cross-section can be determined by weighing. -The loading spring can be replaced by preloading the membrane or the weir pipe, which means but the latter must be much larger or more elastic.
