Zu diesem Zweck wird über dem Einlauftrichter, der sich zwischen den beiden senkrecht stehenden Bandschleifen befindet, ein an sich bekannter Tafelapparat angebracht, welcher das Stapelfaserfließ in kleinen waagerechten Falten in den Trichter ablegt. Diese Falten bewegen sich zunächst in waagerechter Lage nach unten, werden aber an der Umlenkstelle der Bänder rechtwinklig gedreht und laufen dann in senkrechter Stellung durch den Trockner hindurch.
