Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   The liquid of the belt 23 is collected in the pit 36 arranged under the machine.

  Depending on the type of liquid, it can be drained off after use or it can be collected and fed back into the machine.

   The way the machine is used is as follows: The textile material is first placed in an open and wide form on the uppermost, fastest running belt, where liquid is splashed abundantly. From the end of the uppermost belt it falls down onto the middle, slower moving belt, which in the second stage, splashed with liquid, conveys the textile material in the opposite direction. The first spray tube of the second stage is directed in such a way that it is able to spray off any wet textile material adhering to the upper belt.

   The liquid is sprayed in the same way as in the first stage and the whole process is repeated from the second to the third stage, so that the textile material is gradually and evenly sprinkled with liquid on both sides in a broad form.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for wet treatment, in particular for washing and dyeing textiles in fabric form, characterized in that the textiles passed by means of transport devices under liquid scattering devices are guided gradually and in a wide form and are evenly sprayed with liquid on both sides.

   2. Machine for carrying out the method, with chains arranged on a stand, driven by side chain wheels, sliding on rails, through which transport devices are guided by means of rods and rollers, over which there are liquid spreading devices, characterized in that means for regulating the speed of the chains, means to supply the scattering liquid to the textile material in such a way that the same is sprayed from one side as well as from the other side by means of belts arranged one above the other, and means are provided to guide the liquid away from the sprayed textile material.

Claims (1)

3. Machine according to claim 2, characterized in that it has a gear train that allows different speeds of the transport devices. 4. 4. Machine according to claim 2, characterized in that it has spray pipes, of which the first spray pipe of the respective lower stage is used to spray the textile material from the upper stage. 5. 5. Machine according to claim 2, characterized in that liquid removal containers provided with a discharge line are provided for the upper transport devices.
