Process for the production of multicolor images, with several partial images
housed in a photographic layer in the process of manufacture
In the case of multicolor images, it is known to generate several partial images in one layer.
The silver images corresponding to the individual partial images become either the same
Time developed and by chemical toning or virage coloring in different colored
Partial images transferred, or the exposure, development, toning or
Virus coloring of the partial images one after the other. In the latter case, has
has so far been found to be particularly annoying that when using double-sided
coated film for the production of multicolor images the sensitivity of the
for the recording of the second partial image as yet unexposed halogen silver
is greatly reduced by the process of toning the first partial image.
As a result, when the second partial image is subsequently copied, the
Layer must be exposed to such an extent that it is copied through onto the one on the other
Side of the Schithtträgers located layer is inevitable. One already has
tries to find what remains in the layer after the first partial image has been completed
Remaining bromide silver to resens: bilisiienen, which paus by a clarifying bath consisting of
Bromammonium and Potassium Bichromate, happened. It has now been found that the sensitivity
of the halogen silver for the recording of the second partial image to considerably higher

In order to resensitize the halogen silver that has remained unchanged in the layer,
the layer is bathed in a 10% sodium bisulfate solution and in an i
