eines Staubsaugers angeordneten Walzenbürste Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde,
eine Vorrichtung zum Bohnern, Bürsten. u. dgl. zu schaffen, die als billiges Zusatzgerät
für jeden Staubsauger verwendet werden kann. Die bisher bekannten Vorrichtungen
dieser Art werden meist durch den Elektromotor des Staubsaugers oder auch durch
einen besonderen Motor angetrieben, der an der die ,Bürstenwalze tragenden Saugdüse
unmittelbar befestigt ist. Derartige Vorrichtungen sind entweder nur für solche
Staubsauger verwendbar, bei denen die Saugdüsen unmittelbar am Staubsaugergehäuse
angeordnet sind, oder es muß eine besondere Stromzuführungsleitung für den Hilfsmotor
vorgesehen sein, die leicht Beschädigungen ausgesetzt ist und infolgedessen das
Gehäuse des Gerätes unter Spannung setzen kann. Zur Vermeidung dieser Nachteile
hat man daher auch vorgeschlagen, die in der Saugdüse angeordnete Walzenbürste durch
Flügelräder anzutreiben, die von dem Saugluftstrom angetrieben werden. Bei den bekannten
Vorrichtungen dieser Art ist jedoch die Anordnung so getroffen, daß die Flügelräder
zu beiden Seiten neben der Walzenbürste auf der gleichen Welle angeordnet sind.
Hiermit ist nun der Nachteil verbunden, daß die Saugdüse trotz unerwünscht großer
Breite doch nur, in ihrem mittleren Teil. eine Bürstwirkung ausübt. Man kann daher
Fußbodenflächen usw. nicht bis zum Rand abbürsten, weil dies der vorstehende Teil
des Sauggehäuses nicht zuläßt. Im folgenden wird nun gezeigt, wie dieser übeIstand
einer solchen Bürstvorrichtung beseitigt werden kann.' Gemäß dem Gegenstand der
Erfindung ist die zum Bürsten, Bohnern u. dgl. dienende, Vorrichtung in der Weise
ausgebildet, daß die Antriebsflügel zwischen den auf der Walze sitzenden Borstenreihen
angeordnet sind und vorteilhaft aus einem weichen elastischen Stoff bestehen. Hierdurch
wird der Vorteil erzielt, daß die Walzenbürste fast sobreit wie das Düsengehäuse
selbst ausgebildet werden kann, so da.ß man mit einer solchen Düse z. B. den Fußboden
praktisch bis an die Scheuerleiste bürsten kann. Ferner ist mit dieser Anordnung
der Vorteil verbunden, daß bei gleicher Bürstwirkung das Gehäuse der Düse eine wesentlich
geringere Breite als bisher erhalten kann, -,vas eine Verbilligung und Vereinfachung
bedeutet. Außerdem wird auch auf diese Weise leine nicht unerhebliche Gewichtsverminderung

etwas kürzer als dis Borsten gehalten. Ferner sind- die Borstenreihen und die dazwischenliegenden
Flügel, wie insbesondere Fig.3 zeigt, auf der Walze schraubenförmig angeordnet,
wodurch .eine besonders gute Abdichtung zwischen der Walzenbürste und der Innenwandung
des Gehäuses erzielt wird. Die eingesaugte Luft strömt in der durch den Pfeil 6
dargestellten Richtung durch die Vorrichtung hindurch und versetzt dabei die Walzenbürste
in der Pfeilrichtung 7 in Drehbewegung. Da der Abstand- der Walzenbürste von der
linken Wand des Gehäuses .etwas größer ist öls von der rechten Wand, aber ,an jeder
Stelle mindestens so weit ist, daß die Bürsten die Wandung berühren, so müssen die
