Lack of laundry The object of the invention is to provide, in the event of a lack of laundry,
which by a running board and by a crank together with a pull rod and transmission
containing gear is to be set in rotation, a large translation resulting
and therefore only a small amount of force required on the footboard gear within
of the roll frame without increasing its dimensions given by the roll length
and in addition to this, within the lower free frame space, there are also powerful,
to accommodate a high roller pressure resulting leaf springs. This job is
solved according to the invention in the manner; that the crank is not in a
Plane arranged transversely to the roller axes, but parallel to the roller axes
and with it a large translation which, in addition to the varlaid, results in a large translation
Pulley is united, so that the pulley m is parallel to a plane
to the roller level and almost the entire free frame space below the
Can fill roles. In this rack space can then also in itself
known way the leaf springs for generating the roller pressure without enlargement
the gesture dimensions. The placement of the leaf springs in the
Gesture space below the rollers is essential in the present case for the reason
because in this way the operator who sits on the footboard is also in this position
the adjusting device of the leaf springs for regulating the roller pressure is accessible
is. The new position of the crank then requires a fundamentally new training
the connecting rod, since in the present case the swing axis of the footboard
and the crank axis are in mutually perpendicular planes; the difficulty
a connection between the two components, in this case by means of a tie rod,
is according to the invention in a very simple way, namely by an articulated
Subdivision of the pull rod, solved; as a result, the one linked to the footboard is able to do so
lower part of the tie rod in a plane transverse to the roller plane and the upper part of the
Pull rod part engaging the crank, unaffected by the lower movement of the pull rod part,
to swing in a plane parallel to the roller plane.

i überträgt.
In the frame a of the mangle, a footboard b is articulated below at C; by means of a tie rod d, which is articulated at e, the footboard b is united with a crank disk f, g - which is designed as a belt pulley and transmits its rotary movement to a smaller belt pulley i by means of a belt h. The belt pulley i is arranged on a shaft j mounted on top of the frame a, which has a flywheel k on its other end and its rotational movement by means of a worm m and .eines. Worm gear n on the lower roll o the mangle transfers; the roller o is coupled in the usual way by means of gears g with the upper roller p of the ironer. The upper roller p can be lifted out of its support bearings r, and for this purpose one of the bearings r is axially displaceable by means of a lever s and can be locked in place in the frame a by means of a pivotable lever t (Figs. 3 to 5); a spring hanger u, v also engages the storer, through which the roller p is resiliently pressed against the lower roller o; the spring tension can be adjusted by means of a screw spindle w. The two bearings r also have eccentrics y which enable them to be raised and which are moved by means of a hand lever x 'each, by means of which the upper roller p can be raised from the lower one, o, as required. As the upper roller can be removed from its bearings, it is also possible to wrap the laundry several times around the upper roller and thus roll it.
