Description
Gas burner The invention relates to a gas burner for use under pressure supplied gas with multi-stage subdivided intake of the combustion air the gas with gradual expansion of the gas.
According to the invention, such a gas burner is used for regulation the first air supply an axially adjustable, the stationary, conically tapering Gas nozzle and the downstream mixing nozzle immediately enclosing and with Air inlet openings provided regulating sleeve is provided, which is conical towards the mixing nozzle graduated, with the outflow end of the gas nozzle narrowing towards the mixing nozzle Air intake chamber forms and the free passage cross-section when adjusted between itself and the gas nozzle changes.
There are already gas burners for gas supplied under pressure in various Embodiments known. So is z. B. a burner is known in which a regulating sleeve encloses the pulp housing. Also gas burners with ring slide to regulate the Air are known. In contrast to these known burners, the subject matter of the invention achieved that both during the axial adjustment of the regulating sleeve as well as during the further air flow, the first air in an umbrella-like manner in a narrowing channel is fed to the gas jet, which means that the air is fed in with as little turbulence as possible is cheap. When adjusting the regulating sleeve, the cross-section of the ring-shaped air supply channel changed accordingly, without the initial air thereby Can give rise to vortex formation. When sheathing the burner for the purpose The regulating sleeve is expediently supplied with preheated combustion air from the casing of the burner so that it can be adjusted from the outside.
The drawing shows, for example, such a gas burner.

The conically tapering gas supply nozzle, a is held by a ring b and this by two narrow support arms c. The support arms c are attached to a plate d or formed in one piece with it. The regulating sleeve used to regulate the initial air sits on the gas supply nozzle a, which is provided with holes f for the entry of the initial air = near the nozzle opening and can be moved axially over the nozzle without disrupting any part of the entire burner structure or the pipe needs to be expanded or changed. This is because the regulating sleeve e is screwed onto the nozzles from the outside and can be adjusted axially by turning and so the distance of the openings f for the first air from the inlet opening g of the mixing nozzle h can be changed as desired. The burner is surrounded by a jacket k so that preheated combustion air can be used. The regulating muffle is led out of the jacket of the burner so that it can be rotated from the outside, since the ring b holding the gas supply nozzle a is supported on only two arms c. A scale L is attached to the upper support arm c and a pointer is attached to the regulating sleeve, which indicates the exact size of the distance between the openings f and the inlet opening g of the mixing nozzle h. The regulating sleeve e is tapered towards the mixing nozzle h and surrounds it so that it forms, together with the gas nozzle a, an air intake chamber which narrows towards the mixing nozzle, the free cross-section of which is changed accordingly when the regulating sleeve is adjusted. . After leaving the mixing nozzle k, the gas / first air mixture passes into a second pipe leading to the furnace !, Whereby in a known manner between the pipe h and the pipe ! the secondary air is sucked in.
