Description
Process for the production of a care product for rubber objects Linseed oil preparations and those containing rubber have hitherto been used as gloss agents for rubber objects Paints used. Shellac solutions are also to a small extent in the literature called, especially when mixed with resin or turpentine oil to reduce the brittleness. It is also already known that solutions which exclusively Contain shellac, a glossy layer z. B. result on rubber shoes, which one has far too little elasticity and therefore flakes off very quickly.
With the agent produced by the new process, a glossy layer is created generated on rubber objects, which on the one hand is sufficiently elastic and on the other hand gives them a uniform shine.
It was first found that a sufficiently elastic layer of lacquer could be obtained obtained when a solution of aqueous, saponified shellac is a water-soluble one Plasticizers, e.g. B. glycerin or Turkish red oil, added in sufficient quantities. Such a purely aqueous solution has the disadvantage that it is on the rubber does not produce a uniform sheen, but causes a certain cloud formation. It has now also been found that this cloud formation can be avoided if 20 to 60% alcohol is added to this solution.
