Description

Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Brutgerät, Bienenköniginnen auf künstlichem Wege zu züchten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dasselbe dem Bienenvolke unmittelbar aufgesetzt wird. Es ist bekannt, daß Bienenköniginnen im Brutraum eines Bienenvolkes künstlich gezüchtet werden unter Benutzung von kleinen Einzelkäfigen, ferner bekannt ist die Einrichtung zum Züchten von Königinnen, bei der eine mit Durchbrechungen versehene Platte dicht oberhalb des Brutraumes gelagert ist und in den Durchbrechungen dicht abschließende Klötze herausnehmbar angeordnet sind, die an ihrem nach dem Brutraum zu liegenden Ende Näpfe zum Einsetzen von Weiselbechern tragen. Es war bis jetzt nicht möglich, den Zuchtvorgang zu beobachten, ohne einen Eingriff in das Pflegevolk oder Zuchtgerät ausführen zu müssen. Jeder Eingriff ist bekannterweise für eine gedeihliche Zucht von Bienenköniginnen immer nachteilig, für den Imker zeitraubend und unbequem. Es war bis jetzt nicht möglich, ein gefahrloses Verschulen der Weiselzellen vorzunehmen, zumal dann, wenn dieselben überbaut sind und beschnitten werden müssen, da bekannterweise geringster Druck und leiseste Erschütterung der Weiselzellen denselben zum Nachteil ist. Das Schlüpfenlassen von Bienenköniginnen außerhalb des Wabenbaues eines Bienenvolkes und Entnehmen derselben, ohne mit Pflegebienen in Berührung zu kommen, war bis jetzt ein unerfüllter Wunsch; es sei denn, man bediente sich eines bakteriologischen Brutschrankes, dies Verfahren, das bekannterweise große Vorteile dem Züchter bietet, aber aus rein wirtschaftlichen Gründen für die Volksbienenzucht nicht in Betracht kommt.
