Description
The invention relates to a centrifugal dust separator with tangential gas inlet. In such a device, steam, Gas or vapors emit a rotating movement in the separation chamber, and the levitating liquid or solid. Cleaning a are thrown against the side walls of the separator due to the centrifugal effect. In the following, the term gas is used briefly for every gas as well as for vapors and vapors. Likewise, the expression Dust includes all types of contaminants that need to be removed from the gas. The invention is based on the object of the separation effect of a FEehkraftabscheider to increase without a significant pressure loss occurring in the system. she goes thereby from a separator, which consists of three equiaxed chambers, namely one Gas inlet, a separation and a dust settling chamber consists.
The known devices of this type have various internals which more or less influence the free passage of gas. Spiral baffles, vanes or the like in the gas admission chamber, which have been used to give the incoming gas stream a rotating movement, impair the free vortex movement. The invention therefore uses a Gaszulaßkammer tangientialem with gas inlet and a passage between leitblechfreien Gaszulaß- 1 UHD Tuennkamrncr. The separation chamber is also free of obstacles and has a gas outlet pipe which projects axially into the separator and which has a shoulder at its end.
In order to improve the effect of such a separator, it is proposed according to the invention. to make the approach on the gas outlet pipe flange-shaped or a smaller one Make an angle of 90 ° with the pipe wall. The familiar approaches adjoin a conical extension of the gas outlet pipe. This creates a gas flow on the inside of this extension, through which the training an undisturbed vortex prevented and by, the enlarged catchment area. dust is entrained into the outlet pipe. At 5 " shaping the approach according to the invention, such effects are excluded.
It must be taken into account that always when the gas passes through the interior of the housing During the operation of each centrifugal separator a certain amount of dust in the Limbo is. The coarser dust is in the outer part of the vortex, near the center of the vortex on the other hand the finer dust. If there is now a flange in the gas outlet pipe
Durch, den Flansch gemäß der Erfindung wird die Staubausscheidungswirkung um 10 o/o und mehr erhöht, und gleichzeitig wird der Widerstand des Abscheiders verringert.brought, which forms an angle of 90 ° or less with the pipe wall, then there are special advantages, as has been determined by careful experiments. The outlet coefficient of the gas outlet pipe is increased, the pressure drop when entering the gas outlet pipe is thereby reduced. In addition, such a flange prevents dust which is located on the outside of the pipe from being entrained into the gas outlet pipe by the cleaned gas stream emerging. If, on the other hand, the angle enclosed by the extension and the pipe is larger, dust can very easily migrate around the edge of the pipe into the interior. Is, the flange according to the invention, the dust separation effect by 10 o / o and more increased, and simultaneously, the resistance is reduced of the separator.
In the drawings, Fig. 1 shows, for example, a longitudinal section of a separator with a downward flow, i.e. one with a downwardly directed gas outlet pipe.
Abb. 2 ist ein waagerechter Schnitt nach Linie A-A der Abb. 1.Fig. 2 is a horizontal section along line AA of Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 shows a modified version of the lower part of the separator in a vertical section of the kind shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 shows a vertical section Is a separator with an upward flow, i.e. one with an ascending flow Gas outlet pipe.
Jedoch weist er andere • Formen für den Gaseinlaß und den Ablenkkörper auf.FIG. 5 is a partial vertical section and FIG. 6 is an external view of the one shown in FIG Separator. However, it has other shapes for the gas inlet and deflector on.
In the drawing is the cylindrical separator housing with 1 and the inclined or tangential gas line with 2. Through this, the gas enters the gas admission chamber 3, in which a rotating flow is produced. A conical deflector 4 which is substantially coaxial with the housing lies, separates the admission chamber 3 partially from the separation chamber 5 and leaves room for the gas flow to pass through between these two chambers through the annular, wingless passage 7. This Passage, has its smallest width 6 at or near the lower edge of the deflector 6. The deflecting body 4 is rigidly connected to the housing ι by means of the component 15 which, as shown in Fig. 4 and 5, can form part of the gas outlet pipe. The generator of the deflector 4 can instead of being straight as in Fig. 4, be curved as in Fig. 5. Arrangement and design of the However, deflector body does not belong to the invention.
The inner end of the gas outlet or tube 8 protrudes inward into the separation chamber 5 inside. This pipe 8 is at the clean gas outlet downwards with a downwardly inclined flange 9 at or near his inner end equipped. Instead of a straight cross-section as shown, the flange can also have a curved or curved cross section.
The dust chamber 10 is partially from the Separation chamber 5 separated by means of the conical wall 11, which is coaxial with the Housing 1 is and a passage of the dust flow between the chambers 5 and 10 through the narrow, annular passage 12 at the edge of the partition. The dust outlet is designated by 13. The partition 11 can e.g. Gas outlet pipe to be attached; however, their arrangement and training also form not the subject of the invention.
According to FIG. 3, the partition 11 can serve not only as a means of separating the separation chamber 5 from the dust chamber 10 but also as a device on the gas outlet pipe 8 that replaces the flange 9 (FIG. 1). FIGS. 5 and 6 show the application of the invention to a dust separator, the GaSz 1 UIaB chamber of which has several inclined gas inlets 2. Such inclined gas inlets are known per se.
The rotary movement of the gas leaving the admission chamber 3 takes place in the separation chamber 5 shows a real vortex character, namely the flow is inward to that Coaxial gas outlet pipe 8 of smaller, rem diameter directed. In chamber 3 the flow converges after the narrowest width of the outlet 7, and as a result of this convergence the flow becomes streamlined or countercurrent, and this flow type also becomes in the separation chamber as a result the contraction of the flow against the outlet pipe 8 is maintained. Because there are no counter currents that prevent separation would be a hindrance, the relatively dense floating dust becomes due to centrifugal force driven out against the sides of the separation chamber and falls under the action gravity through the annular passage 12 into the dust chamber 10 with the Outlet 13.
By arranging the flange or rim 9 on the inner edge of the gas outlet pipe becomes the component of movement of the gas flow along the outer surface of the outlet pipe 8 is reduced in size and the separation is improved as a result. The edge of the partition is close to the housing. The dust chamber 10 is against the high-speed
digkeit bewegte Gas in der Trenrikammer abgeschirmt, so daß das Gas in der Staubkammer verhältnismäßig unbewegt ist.the moving gas is shielded in the separating chamber, so that the gas in the dust chamber is relatively immobile.
