Description
Method of making a for cutting into woven threads certain, consisting of metal foil and cellulose material It is known from baluias of metal foils usable for weaving and braiding to cut, with the metal foil in a thinly rolled state for cutting must, as strong metal foils do not have the flexibility required for weaving. It has also been proposed, in order to increase the tensile strength of the thin ones Metal foil and, to avoid curling and puckering of the threads, the metal foil to be covered on both sides with fiber-free cellulose skins. The position of such However, composite materials are relatively expensive because the skins are initially manufactured separately and then using a binder the metal layer must be glued on. It is also known the metal foils to be covered with thin layers of lacquer to make them impervious to fingerprints to make them or to give them a certain coloring.
The present invention relates to the solution to the problem of metal foils to combine with layers of cellulose derivatives in a simple and reliable way, the material from which threads for weaving and braiding can be cut.
According to the invention, there is a metal foil with roughened on both sides Surfaces for use which are covered with a transparent adhesive layer, such as albumin, Casein or the like, will pass. This adhesive layer is then followed by his other A layer of liquid cellulose derivatives was poured on and made to solidify. The individual layers of the. Composite material produced in this way adhere also after cutting due to the roughened surface of the metal foil and the adhesive interlayer reliably on top of each other. The threads have a high tensile strength and, like the known threads, are suitable for weaving and braiding. Dias procedure for the production of the material also has the advantage that for applying the cellulose derivative layers In contrast, only a single operation is required on the metal foil to the known method where the cellulose skin is produced first and m a second Operation must be glued to the base.
