Dieser kleineren Formänderung entspricht auch eine kleinere Formänderungsarbeit, und demzufolge wird auch die aufzuwendende Preßarbeit geringer. Des weiteren hat die verringerte Ausweichbewegung des Stempelwerkstoffes zur Folge, daß der die Randeinspannung bewir- ■ kende Teil des Werkstoffes stärker zusammengepreßt wird als bei langsamem Pressen, so daß unter sonst gleichen Umständen die Neigung zur Faltenbildung am Werkstück beträchtlich geringer wird. Dies hat wiederum zur Folge, daß die Arbeitsgüte sich erhöht und der Prozentsatz des Ausschusses sich verringert.
