Um die Prallwirkung weiter zu erhöhen, ist der Prallring möglichst nahe an dem Wurfteller angeordnet, außerdem ist er, um die Prallfläche zu vergrößern, mit Rippen versehen, die so gesetzt sind, daß das Mahlgut, welches tangential vom Wurfteller abfliegt, senkrecht gegen die Rippenwandung geschleudert wird, wie Abb. 3 zeigt.
