Devices are known for mixing two liquids in equal proportions,

In order to achieve a mixture with the same proportions, the pressure from the mixing point

Liquid attached as a float in the container for the other, so that it is automatic

To improve facilities so that the mixture even with greatly different inflow

the drawing explained in more detail. The drawing shows: ι the lime water saturator, in its upper
Part of the lime water is produced saturated and clear in a known form, 2 the drainage line
of the lime water to the mixing nozzle, 3 a well shaft in which the water flowing out of the filter system depending on
the water level in the filter rises or falls, creating different water levels. on
the float tank 4 with the float valve 5, 6 floats this water level
Float valve 6 is through the pipeline 7 and the stuffing box 8 with the inflow line
of the lime water 2 connected. The bottom of the float tank 4 is hose-like
Drain line 9 connected for lime water. 10 is the mixing nozzle and 11 is the regulating valve
for the addition of lime water, which is set once by hand depending on the amount of water required.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: Depending on the water level, which by
the incoming raw water is generated in the well 3, the float tank rises or falls
4 at the same height as the water level in the well shaft, which
depends on the pressure of the incoming raw water in the well shaft
generated. This pressure is in turn dependent on the water level in the filter containers
and the pipe friction loss from the filter to the well shaft 3. The float tank is so large that
he can easily overcome the gland friction at 8. As a result now that the float tank
4 always adapts exactly to the pressure conditions in the well shaft, and thereby,
that the float valve 5 and 6 in this float tank itself the Kalkwasserspiegel
keeps at a constant height, the inflow of the saturated lime water regulates itself
through the hose line 9 into the nozzle 10 in such a way that the once by hand
the control element 11 set the amount of lime water exactly the amount of water flowing through at 10
adapts automatically and always maintains the same mixing ratio.
