Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Lacken, Imprägnierungsmitteln u. dgl. Es wurde gefunden, daß sich Acetylcellulose in acetalartigen Verbindungen aus Aldehyden und mehrwertigen Alkoholen, die freie Hydroxylgruppen enthalten, wie z. B. Glycerinmonoformal, zu technisch wertvollen Lacken, Celluloselösungen, Imprägnierungs-und Druckereilösungen löst. So stellt z. B. eine :Mischung von 15 Teilen Acetylcellulose mit 85 Gewichtsteilen Glycerinmonoformal ein wertvolles Produkt dar, das zu den angegebenen Zwecken verwendet werden kann. Eine gleich wertvolle Mischung erhält man durch Lösen von 15 Gewichtsteilen Acety 1-cellulose in 85 Gewichtsteilen Acetaldehydglycerin (Annalen der Chemie, Band 335. Seite z16). Gegebenenfalls können noch andere Lösungsmittel, Weichmachungsmittel und Farbstoffe zugesetzt werden. Diese acetalartigen Verbindungen aus Aldehyden und mehrwertigen Alkoholen, die freie Hydroxylgruppen enthalten, besitzen ein großes Lösungsvermögen für Acetylcellulose und haben gegenüber anderen Lösungsmitteln auch noch den Vorteil völliger Geruch- und Geschmacklosigkeit.Process for the production of paints, impregnating agents and the like.
