Description

Stoffdrücker zum Ausnähen von Gimpeknopflöchern Es sind Stoffdrücker für Nähmaschinen bekannt, welche in ihrem Fuße Führungen für aufzunähende Schnüre bzw. Bänder aufweisen. Derartige Stoffdrückerfüße, selbst in ihrer Anwendung an Zickzacknähmaschinen, eignen sich indessen nicht zum Ausnähen von Gimpeknopflöchern, weil die Naht iin Bereiche des Nähfußes nicht sichtbar ist und man deshalb den Rändern und Rundungen des Knopfloches nicht folgen kann. Dies ist aber erforderlich, um ein sauberes und einwandfreies Gimpeknopfloch herzustellen sowie dieses zu verriegeln. Der Nähvorgang muß während des Nähens beobachtet und der Stoff offensichtlich geführt werden können. Diesen Anforderungen entspricht der vorliegende Stoffdrücker, und er ermöglicht daher das Ausnähen der Gimpeknopflöcher auf normalen Zickzacknähmaschinen,was für Schneiderwerkstätten, für die sich. die Anschaffung der teuren Knopflochnähmaschine nicht lohnt, eine Ersparnis an Zeit und Arbeit bedeutet und wodurch die bisher gebräuchliche Handherstellung von Gimpeknopflöchern ersetzt wird. Die Eigenart des vorliegenden Stoffdrückers liegt darin, daß er einen nur einseitig von der Nahtlinie den Stoff angreifenden Fußvorderteil mit in diesem spitzwinklig zür Nährichtung angeordneten Kanälen für den Gimpefaden aufweist, der somit die freie Übersicht über die Naht und die offensichtliche Führung des Stoffes von Hand ermöglicht, so daß auch die Rundungen des Knopfloches durch Schwenken des Stoffes gut ausgeführt und der Nähvorgang dabei beobachtet werden kann; ebensogut kann auch das Knopfloch durch Nähte verriegelt werden.
