Die Einwebung der Taschen ist nicht immer unbedingt erforderlich, sondern es werden bei schmalen oder doppellagigen mittleren Bändern die beschriebenen Vorteile auch schon durch die in Schuß- und Bettrichtung verwebten künstlichen oder natürlichen Roßhaarfäden erreicht, und zwar wird die für die Aufrechterhaltung des Gardinenrandes erforderliche Querelastizität bei schmalen Bändern 'durch die kurze Schußstrecke und bei mittleren Bändern durch die doppelte Bandlage gesichert, während das Aneinandergtoßen der Laufrollenaufhänger durch die Längselastizität, wie bereits beschrieben, vermieden wird.
