Die Eisenlegierung läßt sich verhältnismäßig billig galvanisch niederschlagen, wobei man in 24 Stunden etwa eine Niederschlagsstärke von 2 mm erhalten kann. Das Galvanisieren erfolgt zweckmäßig unter Erwärmung der Kokille auf etwa 35o° C, wenn man auf geringstmögliche Sprödigkeit des galvanischen Überzuges Wert legt.
