Da sich in den Zylindern oder Kammern infolge der Querschnittserweiterung die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit erheblich vermindert, ist es notwendig, die Siebe am oberen Ende der Zylinder oder Kammern anzubringen und die Bierleitungen am unteren Ende anzuschließen, da sonst die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit nicht ausreicht, um die spezifisch schwereren Reinigungsmittel in die Bierleitung zu drücken.
