Verfahren zum Reservieren von Wolle und Seide Es wurde gefunden, daß
man in Mischgeweben, wie z. B. in Halbwolle oder Halbseide, die Wolle bzw. die Seide
dadurch gegen die Aufnahme substantiv er Farbstoffe reservieren kann, daß man die
Ware in dem zum Färben der Baumwolle des Mischgewebes bereiteten Färbebade mit solchen
wasserlöslichen Sulfonsäure- oder Carbonsäureamiden bzw. ihren Derivaten oder Substitutionsprodukten
behandelt, in denen die Wasserstoffatome der Amidgruppen ganz oder teilweise durch
Alkvl-, Aryl- oder Aralk_y lgruppen ersetzt sind.Method of reserving wool and silk It has been found that

Beispiel Halbwolle wird zunächst in einem Färbebade, das mit 3 °/"
Schwefelsäure, io °/o Glaubersalz und i °/a Orange II (S c h u 1 t z , Farbstofftabellen,
6.Auflage, '.i\-r. i45), alles berechnet auf das Gewicht der Ware, beschickt ist,
i Stunde kochend heiß angefärbt. Die Ware wird gut gespült und dann in ein Färbebad
gebracht, in dem im üblichen Flottenverhältnis 2 °/o Brillantbenzoblau 6 B (S c
h u 1 t z, Farbstofftabellen, 6. Auflage, Nr. q.24), 30 °/o Glaubersalz und 3 °/o
des Natriumsalzes der Bis-(i, 2-dichlorbenzol-4-sulfonyl-) benzidin-m-disulfonsäure
gelöst sind. Man färbt i Stunde bei 50°, spült und trocknet. Es zeigt sich, daß
beim Färben der Baumwolle mit dem substantiv en blauen Farbstoff der orange Farbton
der Wollfäden des Mischgewebes in unveränderter Reinheit erhalten geblieben ist.
Die in diesem Beispiel verwendete Bis-(i, 2-dichlorbenzol-¢ - sulfonyl-) benzidin-m,
m'-disulfonsäure der Formel
kann z. B. dargestellt werden durch Umsetzung von i, 2-Dichlorbenzol-4-sulfochlorid
mit Benzidin-m, nz'-disulfonsäure in Gegenwart eines die abgespaltene Salzsäure
neutralisierenden Mittels. In ähnlicher Weise vermögen andere wasserlösliche substituierte
Sulfonsäure- oder Carbonsäureamidderivate Wolle bzw. Seide in Mischgeweben weitgehend
zu reservieren, z. B. Körperwie:4-Chlor-3-aminobenzol-i-sulfonyl-
