Bewegt man jedoch
Device for fine adjustment of the pulley for the saddle of
Paper cutting machines In order to use the table saddle on cutting machines, which by means of
an intervertebral disc is quickly moved back and forth by hand using a steel band or the like,
to be able to adjust finely, the intervertebral disc in most cases has a cochlea,
in which a worm engages, the shaft of which is turned by a handwheel. These
known design has the major disadvantage that the worm every time. in or
out of engagement with the cochlea: the intervertebral disc has to be brought, as the case may be
you want to move the saddle quickly or fine-tune it. To the time consuming
To avoid inserting and disengaging the worm, one embodiment is known, he the
the fine adjustment by clamping couplings of any kind in both directions of movement
is always positively coupled to the intervertebral disc of the saddle, while the
Quick saddle wheel sits loosely rotatable on the bolt of the intervertebral disc. In this version
the fine adjustment is only possible after the high-speed saddle wheel has been idle to a certain extent
uncoupled and thus the loose high-speed saddle wheel in firm contact with the intervertebral disc
brought so that the rapid saddle can take effect. This version has
but the big disadvantage that due to the idle speed of the quick saddle wheel one more
or there is less jerky movement of the saddle and the high-speed saddle wheel
always receives an annoying blow when it is applied to the intervertebral disc. According to others
known designs are available in order to avoid inserting and removing the screw,
the intervertebral disc is provided with an annular keyway or a locking collar,
in which a clamping pawl or toothed pawl engages. Usually the clamp is in place
out of engagement with the annular keyway so that you can unobstruct the disc
can be turned quickly by hand and thus has a quick adjustment. But if you move
the hand lever of the fine adjustment, which is operated by a pull rod with the clamping pawl
is connected, the pawl fits into the keyway of the intervertebral disc
and takes them with you. The transmission ratio of the hand lever enables fine adjustment
the intervertebral disc. This means that there is a reciprocal rapid or fine adjustment
of the saddle made possible without any parts only by a separate movement
to couple or uncouple, as this is the coupling and decoupling of the clamping pawl
takes place automatically when the hand lever is moved. But this known version has
the disadvantage that it only allows fine adjustment in one direction of rotation.
The invention described and illustrated below is there
a way to make a fine adjustment in both by means of a clamping or toothed pawl
To enable directions of rotation without the clamping
or pawl first
to bring into engagement with the intervertebral disc.

Elevation of the table.
hin und her bewegt.
The saddle i is coupled to the intervertebral disk 3 in a known manner by means of the steel band 2 and is quickly moved back and forth by turning the intervertebral disk by hand. In the keyway 4 of the intervertebral disc engages a wedge-shaped clamping pawl 5 .ein, which has two clamping lugs 6 and; possesses, so that after inserting it into the keyway it can take the intervertebral disc with it in both directions of rotation, depending on whether the nose 6 or the nose 7 is inserted into the keyway. The clamping pawl 5 is pivotably mounted on a lever 8 about the bolt 9, while the lever 8 is rotatable about the axis io of the intervertebral disc. At the outer end of the clamping pawl 5, the pull rod ii is articulated, which engages with its other end on the short lever arm of the hand lever 12, which in turn is rotatably mounted on the bolt 13 attached to the table. In order to keep the lever 8 and thus the clamping pawl 5 in the middle position, the lever 8 is supported on both sides with a compression spring 14 and 15 against an arm 16 fixed on the axis io of the intervertebral disc, while at the outer end of the clamping pawl 5 a tension spring 17 attacks, which acts exactly in the direction of the central position of the clamping pawl and is attached to the table at its other end. The action of these springs causes the lever 8 to always return to its central position, and the clamping pawl 5 with its two lugs 6 and 7 is out of engagement with the intervertebral disc, so that the intervertebral disc can be turned quickly back and forth by hand without hindrance. However, if the hand lever 12 is moved in one of the indicated arrow directions, the clamping pawl 5 first pivots under the pulling or pushing action of the pulling rail ii about its fulcrum on the lever 8, which initially rotates around the axis io due to the mutual support the compression springs 14 and 15 is inhibited, and one of their two lugs 6 or 7 is firmly in the keyway of the intervertebral disc 3. When the hand lever 12 is moved further in the direction taken, the intervertebral disc is now taken along by the clamping action of the clamping pawl, with the Lever 8 is pivoted finitely about the axis io. The compression spring acting in the opposite direction to the pivoting direction is tensioned and the other is relieved. A fine adjustment of the intervertebral disc and thus of the saddle can be achieved with the hand lever 12. After releasing the hand lever 12, the lever 8, the clamping pawl 5 and the hand lever i: z go back to their central position under the action of the springs 14, 15 and 17, and the intervertebral disc is thus free again, so that it is again unhindered by hand can be rotated quickly. Through this arrangement, a reciprocal rapid or fine adjustment of the intervertebral disc is made possible in both directions without first having to couple or uncouple any parts by a special handle.
