Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung harzartiger, plastischer Massen Die Herstellung plastischer Massen durch Erhitzen von Destillationsproduktenvon Tallöl mit trockenem Schwefel ist bekannt. Einfacher und vorteilhafter erhält man harzartige, nicht klebende, plastische Massen, wenn erfindungsgemäß Tallöl unmittelbar mit wäßrigen Polyschwefellösungen, z. B. Polysulfidlösungen von Calcium, Kalium usw., erhitzt wird. Die so erhaltenen Massen sind in verschiedenen Lösungsmitteln, wie z. B. Schwefelkohlenstoff, Chloroform, Äthylenchlorid, Benzol usw.. löslich. Sie eignen sich vornehmlich als Dichtungsmaterial, als Schiffskittersatz, als Harz- oder Kolophoniumersatz und in der Kautschukindustrie für die verschiedensten Zwecke. Beispiel Auf ioo Gewichtsteile einer Schwefelkalkbrühe (Calciumpolysulfidlösung) vom spez.
