Dann werden 2,5o Gewichtsteile eines Gemisches aus Methanol und Wasser abdestilliert. Das Destillat wird mit Kochsalz versetzt und dabei ausgeschiedenes Öl in das Reaktionsgefäß zurückgegeben. Nach Zugabe von 25o Gewichtsteilen Wasser wird das Reaktionsgemisch unter ständigem Rühren 5 Stunden lang auf 95' gehalten. Es bildet sich dabei eine zähe, braune Masse. Sie wird auf dar Walze ausgewaschen.
