Description
B: in Tuben leicht einfüllen. Wax masses It has been found that wax masses of any kind that in addition to the wax, a content of organic derivatives of ammonia with at least an alkyloxy or or and a cycloalkyloxy group or or and salts or Have derivatives of these compounds, have excellent properties. Under organic derivatives of ammonia with at least one alkoxy group are not only the amines containing aliphatic oxy groups, such as mono-, di- and triethanolamine, understood, but also the amines containing cycloalkoxy groups and their derivatives of these compounds, such as amides, esters and salts. You can do this; Wax masses z. B. manufacture so that waxes of any kind (vegetable, animal or mineral Origin or solid or semi-solid wax compositions, e.g. B. polishes, creams etc.) during or after their preparation the said derivatives of ammonia or adds their salts. Also for the production of easily spreadable creams and the like Preparations made from waxes, e.g. B. for cosmetic purposes, can be düe above Use organic compounds excellently. The one addition of such organic Derivatives of products containing ammonia also have the particular advantage of that they do not tend to gelatinize, they remain permanently semi-solid and leave z. B: Fill easily into tubes. Example z r2kg of a highly bleached montan wax, which was partly esterified with glycol, partly saponified with calcium oxide, and 3 kg of a wax made from montan wax bleached with chromic acid by saponification available with soda are fused together with 33 kg of paraffin. In the 2 kg of the salt-like compound of triethanolamine and chromic acid are melted registered with highly bleached montan wax. The clear melt is made with 2001 turpentine oil or gasoline diluted. A paste is obtained which, for. B. used as a polishing compound and the like can be.
Instead of the salt-like compound of triethanolamine, you can use the same effect also the corresponding salt-like compound from mono- or Use diethanolamine or mixtures of these amines.
Examples 6 kg of a highly bleached montan wax which has been partially esterified with glycol, saponified in part with calcium oxide, the bleached with chromic acid Montan wax is obtained by treatment with ammonia under pressure 1 5 kg of a wax, and 3 kg of a -wachsartigen mass how they z. B. from montan wax with a high content of high molecular weight fatty acids by reacting 'these fatty acids with other fatty acids, aromatic or hydroaromatic acids-can-be-obtained, and 33 kg of paraffin with 2 kg of a salt-like compound mentioned in Example i of highly oxidized montan wax and mono -, Di- or triethanolamine and with Zoo 1 of a solvent, for. B. turpentine oil or gasoline, added. A paste is obtained which can be used as a polishing compound and the like. Example 3 8 kg of a highly bleached montan wax,. which has been partly esterified with glycol, partly saponified with calcium oxide, and 9 kg of a wax that is obtainable from montan wax bleached by means of chromic acid by esterification with glycerine, together with 2 kg of a waxy mass like those made from montan wax with a high Content of high molecular weight free fatty acids can be obtained by reacting these fatty acids with ethylene glycol and other fatty acids, 33 kg 'paraffin, 2 kg mono-, di- or triethanolamine or a mixture of these amines .und 2.50 1 solvent mixed. The result is a liquid, easily mobile preparation that z. B. can be used as floor wax and the like. EXAMPLE 5 kg of a highly bleached montan wax that has been partially esterified with glycol and partially saponified with calcium oxide, 5 kg of raw montan wax, 3 layers of a nigrosine base dissolved in stearin, 8 kg of paraffin, 1 kg of ozokerite, 2 kg of the salt-like compound from mono -, Di- or triethanolamine and montan wax highly oxidized by means of chromic acid and 5o 1 turpentine oil or gasoline and receives a preparation that z. B. can be used as a shoe polish that is filled into tubes.
Example s 6.5 kg of a highly bleached montan wax that has been partly esterified with glycol and partly saponified with calcium oxide, q. kg floor wax, 3 kg of a nigrosine base dissolved in stearin, ii kg of paraffin, i kg of ozokerite, 2 kg of mono-, di- or triethanolamine or mixtures thereof and 50 liters of solvents such as turpentine or gasoline are mixed together. A mass is obtained which z. B. can be used as a shoe polish. EXAMPLE 6 Q. kg of heated triethanolamine are gradually introduced into a melt of 96 kg of raw montan wax at 130 to 10 ° C. with constant stirring. The mixture is then vigorously stirred at 130 to 10 ° C. for 30 minutes. The reaction product produced in this way absorbs five times its weight in oil of turpentine, while raw montan wax itself only absorbs oil of turpentine in a ratio of about i :: 2. The melting point of the reaction product is (according to Kraemer-Sarnow) about 30 higher than that of the untreated wax. One prepared from 10 parts by weight of the raw montan wax treated with triethanolamine in the manner indicated, 20 parts by weight of ceresine (melting point 58 to 600), 2 parts by weight of nigrosine (cf. G. Schu 1 tz, Dye Tables, 1923, No. 698) and 75 parts by weight of turpentine oil Cream is much smoother in consistency than a cream made using raw montan wax in an analogous manner, taking into account its lower binding capacity for turpentine oil.
Beispiel ? Example ? In 95 kg of purified, distilled montan wax (melting point of 750, acid number 85, saponification number 88), 5 kg are gradually preheated with iiol Triethanolamine entered within half an hour with vigorous stirring. The temperature is maintained for a further half an hour and a reaction product is obtained with a melting point of 790 and a lower acid number than the starting material. The binding capacity of the purified Mon: ntanwachsdistillate for turpentine oil is like this increased from about i: 5 to i: i i.
The reaction product can be mixed with 10% paraffin (melting point 50 to 520) without the melting point dropping. By fusing the wax with 511 "of a montan wax obtained by distilling kohmontan wax (melting point 620) and 5" / "hard paraffin (melting point 520), a mass with a melting point of 80 to 80.50 is obtained.
G. S c h u 1 t z , Farbstofftabellen, 1923, Band 2, Seite 26).You can use the treated with triethanolamine montan wax to produce a liquid floor polish by mixing 3 kg of the above-mentioned reaction product with 3 kg of paraffin and 11q. kg of a solvent such as turpentine oil or turpentine oil substitutes. A solid polishing compound is obtained by fusing 10 kg of the reaction product mentioned with 15 kg of hard paraffin and diluting the resulting melt with 75 kg of turpentine oil with the addition of 50 g of Ceresorange II (see G. Schu 1 tz, Dye Tables, 1923, Volume 2 , Page 26).
G. _S c h u 1 t z , Farbstofftabellen, 1923, Band 2, Seite 26) mischt.A usable shoe polish is obtained if you have 2 kg of a highly bleached one Montan wax, partly with ethylene glycol or I # 3-butylene glycol esterified, partly saponified with calcium oxide, with 8 kg of the above Reaction product, 20 kg hard paraffin, 80 kg turpentine oil and 0.05 kg ceres orange II (see G. _S c h u 1 t z, color tables, 1923, volume 2, page 26) mixes.
By mixing 10 kg of the reaction product as shown above with 2 kg of Japan wax, 2 kg of a highly bleached montan wax made with ethylene glycol is esterified, 3 kg hardening paraffin, 32 kg turpentine oil, 1 kg curd soap, 2 kg potash and 80 kg of water you get a usable shoe polish.
Example 8 97 kg of carnauba wax are heated with 3 kg of triethanolamine for one hour at io ° and receives a reaction product that is no longer like that Carnauba wax solidifies to a gritty and, compared to this, has a higher melting point and shows a higher oil binding capacity.
To 95 kg of soft wax obtained by distilling crude montan wax (melting point 62 °, saponification number 25), 5 kg of technical grade triethanolamine (mixture of tri-, di- and monoethanolamine) are added in small portions after heating to 110 to 120 ° and after the end of the entry, stirred for a further 30 minutes at i-20 °. The reaction product melts at 70 °. By fusing with 20 ° / a soft paraffin (melting point qo to 42 °), a mass with a melting point of 69 ° and an oil-binding capacity of i: 3 is obtained, the properties of which largely correspond to the natural yellow ozokerite. Compared to the natural ozokerite, it has the advantage that it can be emulsified relatively easily with water.
I : q..Example io 87 kg obtained in the distillation of raw montan wax Soft wax with 13 kg of technical triethanolamine, as in the previous example described, treated. By fusing the product thus obtained with 20% its weight of soft paraffin a mass is obtained, which in its consistency, its melting point (68 °) and its ability to emulsify is similar to beeswax. While the natural beeswax only absorbs turpentine oil in a ratio of i: 2 the new product an absorption capacity for turpentine oil of I: q ..
