Absorption refrigerator In the case of the sprinkling cooling of the condenser described in the main patent 515 313, the disadvantage has been shown that when the evaporator is turned, some splash water gets into the refrigerator; In addition, the heat of evaporation is absorbed relatively quickly with the large surface area, and the cooling period is still too short. This disadvantage is eliminated according to the present invention in that around the condenser-evaporator B a sheet metal jacket with grooves pressed into it (Fig. 3) is arranged and designed in such a way that the water supplied above sprinkles the condenser-evaporator evenly in the grooves, but no longer splash in the refrigerator. The sheet lying tightly on the E ondensator-evaporator between the grooves allows the cold release or the absorption of the evaporation heat, but not as quickly or not as intensively as in a condenser-evaporator without a jacket, so that the cooling period is delayed accordingly.
Instead of the connecting pipe attached in the middle of the main patent
e with overflow or return pipe t (Fig. 4 and 5) is useful in this case
a U-shaped tube, the front leg k, _ (Fig. 3) below in the
Condenser-evaporator B and its rear leg k2 up into the condenser-evaporator
B opens, as provided and in the middle the connecting pipe i to the cooker A is attached in such a way that
that the leg k1 in the cooking position (Fig. i) also as an overflow and when further
Put back the flap as a return for the entrained absorption liquid,
how the tube t (Fig. 4 and 5) acts in the main patent. In this version
the grooved jacket pushed onto the condenser-evaporator B and soldered and
then the two pipe ends k ,, k. be welded to both ends of the boiler B.
The suction pipe i extends as deep as possible into the cooker and has a small hole a through which the ammonia gases can pass into the condenser-evaporator B in the cooking position (Fig. I), while after the flap has been pivoted in the cooling position (Fig. 2 ) The ammonia gases can exit through this hole a directly under the catch plate r until the solution is saturated on the surface, whereupon the gases can also exit through the lower opening of the tube i and thus also saturate the solution in the bottom of the cooker.
