brauchbare Form zwecks Kunstseideherstellung überzuführen, schlug man bisher verschiedene
Wege ein. Man zerkleinerte z.
Man verlangte
Process for the preparation of solutions from copper oxide ammonia cellulose
To cellulose of any origin in one for the solution in copper oxide ammonia really
To transfer a usable form for the purpose of rayon production, various proposals have been made up to now
Ways one. One crushed z. B. the fiber mechanically by being minced
loosened or ground in the Hollander. The copper salt was also mixed with the
So whipped cellulose and pressed both cakes that were too moist, etc. One demanded
but every cellulose that was used had a certain moisture content
of the fibers, as for the uniform absorption of the copper salt and ammonia and
for the desired homogeneous solution of the product as well as for a faster solution process
a previous swelling of the micelles appeared to be indispensable. The usual one
Required and also used everywhere in the technology moisture content of the used
Cellulose was at least 15 to 20 "/ 0, but mostly above. A drying of the
Cellulose was considered to be unfavorable with regard to the later dissolution.
In contrast, it now became the strange and surprising observation
made that a thoroughly uniform solution is created when the dry cellulose product
entered in a loose or pressed state in the solution of the copper salt in ammonia
will. So are z. B. die-wood pulp, which is usually sold in cardboard form
come, especially for dry use. The duration of the solution is by no means thereby
prolonged, nor does the homogeneity of the solution suffer in any way.
The dissolution of the cellulose can take place at ordinary temperature or
can also be facilitated by lowering the temperature.
Cellulose recht erheblich beschleunigt.Dry use offers great advantages for manufacturing. Once
The annoying and time-consuming weight determination of the cotton and the like is no longer necessary,
whereby the water content always fluctuates even when the pressing is carried out very carefully
never allows exact results to be obtained. The dry use enables further
from the beginning the correct setting of the final cellulose concentration so that the
Correction required afterwards for wet use is not required. And finally will
due to the dry application, the entry of the
Cellulose accelerates quite considerably.
So gibt z. B.
nach vorheriger Behandlung mit Natronlauge an, während P a w 1 i k o -%v
s k i
Zusammensetzung trägt man io kg cellulosehaltiges Material beliebiger Herkunft in
It is true that various information can be found in the literature that might make the dry use of cellulose appear known. So there are z. B. P au 1 y in the patent specification 98 642, '9 j a careful drying of the cellulose after previous treatment with sodium hydroxide solution, while P aw 1 iko -% v ski (patent specification 222 624.) the dissolution of conventional commercial cotton wool, including one dry starting material, mention is made in the presence of copper oxychloride. But all these places are fundamentally different from the new invention, which in contrast to z. B. to Paul basically avoids any chemical intervention before use, so works with dry unchanged cellulose, or claims the solution of dry cellulose in pure copper oxide ammonia solutions that do not affect the presence of other copper salts, such as. B. Kupferoxvclilorid are bound. EXAMPLE 100 kg of cellulose-containing material of any origin in a dry, unswollen state are introduced into 100 liters of an ammoniacal copper oxide solution of 100% of the fibrous composition. The coherent conglomerates fall apart after only about one hour, and the process of dissolving takes place normally until the process of dissolving is over after about six hours. The finished solution can then be spun into K = unstseide according to the draw spinning or another process.
