Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum selbstthä'tigen Einstellen der Aschenfallklappe einer Feuerung, welche Hitze an Kessel abgiebt, die zum Erhitzen von Wasser für Heizungszwecke dienen. Es ist beim Erhitzen von Wasser zu diesem Zweck wichtig, dafs das Feuer derart geregelt wird, dafs das Wasser nicht auf eine so hohe Temperatur erhitzt werden kann, bei welcher die Umwandlung des Wassers in Dampf vor sich geht. Ueber dem Kessel ist ein Schornstein oder Zugkanal E angebracht, welcher zur Ableitung der Verbrennungsproducte und zur Erzeugung des erforderlichen Zuges dient. In den Kessel A mündet ein Rohr F ein, welches mit dem oberhalb des Kessels gelegenen Expansionsgefäfs G in Verbindung steht, so dafs durch das Gewicht der Wassersäule in dem Rohr F das Wasser in dem Kessel unter gröfserem Druck als Atmosphärendruck erhalten wird. Die zur Vertheilung des Wassers in dem Gebäude dienenden Röhren sind nicht dargestellt. Dieselben, welche in irgend einer passenden Weise verlegt werden, sind mit den Stutzen y des Kessels und Hem Gefäfs G, welches nothwendigerweise oberhalb dieser Röhren gelegen sein mufs, zu verbinden.
