Durch diese nicht zu vermeidende Verbindung des Posaunengehäuses mit dem Kurbelgehäuse der Maschine treten jedoch die Öldämpfe des Kurbelgehäuses hindurch und schlagen sich besonders an dem kalten Posaunenrohr nieder, während an der heißeren Ablaufposaune kein Absetzen von Öltröpfchen stattfindet, da bei betriebswarmer Maschine deren Temperatur annähernd gleich der Temperatur der Öldämpfe ist.
