Description
Voll- oder Hohlseil für elektrische Kraftübertragung mit Schutz gegen Schnee- und Eislast durch Erwärmung mit elektrischem Strom Das Hauptpatent 456 694 betrifft ein Freileitungsseil, bei dem ein Hilfsleiter als Heizleiten im Seil eingebettet ist. Die Heizung soll in diesem Falle durch einen besonderen Strom, der mit dem Betriebsstrom nicht identisch ist, erfolgen. Es hat sieh jedoch als zweckmäßig erwiesen, in gewissen Fällen die Heizung auch durch den Betriebsstrom unmittelbar vornehmen zu lassen. Da die durch die Freileitung normal übertragene Leistung nur derartige Ströme ergibt, die keine erhebliche Erwärmung des Seiles verursachen, muß zur Erreichung dieses Zweckes der Heizleiterquerschnitt so gewählt werden, daß die gesamte zu übertragende Leistung im Heizleiter eine derartige Stromdichte ergibt, daß eine wirksame Heizung des Leiters eintritt. Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß das Seil durch isolierende Zwischenlagen in einzelne parallele Leitungen, die sich z. B. aus den einzelnen Seillagen zusammensetzen, unterteilt ist.
