Description
Für die Batterieladung wird der Batteriebehälterdeckel abgenommen, damit die Ladegase ungehindert abziehen können. Nach beendeter Ladung ist noch ein Nachgasen der Zellen bemerkbar. Wird der Deckel nach der Ladung zu früh aufgelegt, so kann eine Ansammlung von Gasen im Behälter auftreten. Um dieses zu vermeiden, hat man im Behälterdeckel senkrechte Bohrungen angebracht, die aber den Nachteil haben, daß durch diese Regenwasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten sowie Staub usw. in die Zellen gelangen können. Über die Deckelöffnungen hat man zwar Ventilationsaufsätze vorgesehen, die das Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten und Staub in die Batterien einschränken. Bei Batterien in Fahrzeugen, z.B. Elektrokarren, ist jedoch die zur Verfügung stehende Raumhöhe für die Batterieunterbringung oftmals beschränkt, so daß für Ventilationsaufsätze auf dem Behälterdeckel kein Platz verbleibt.To charge the battery, the battery container lid is removed to allow the charge gases can pull off unhindered.
