Description

Nach dem Hauptpatent 503 154 wird über der Schweißstelle ein Verbinder aufgebracht, der die Schweißstelle von Zugbeanspruchungen entlastet. Bekanntlich werden durch die Schweißung die anstoßenden Leiterstücke in ihrer Festigkeit häufig erheblich vermindert. Gemäß der Erfindung wird daher der Verbinder langer gemacht als ein üblicher Verbinder, und zwar im wesentlichen um so viel, wie die Länge der in ihrer Festigkeit verschlechterten Leiterteile beträgt. Der Verbinder wird alsdann so aufgeschoben, daß seine Mitte annähernd über der Schweißstelle liegt. In Abb. ι ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines solchen Verbinders dargestellt. 1 und 2 sind zwei Äluminiumseile, die an ihren Enden miteinander leitend verbunden, beispielsweise verschweißt sind. Über der Schweißstelle ist ein Konusverbinder aufgebracht, der so lang ist, daß die Teile der beiden Seile 1 und 2, an denen er angreift, durch die Erhitzung während des Schweißens nicht in der Festigkeit gelitten haben. Der Konusverbinder besteht in bekannter Weise aus zwei geteilten Konussen 3 und 4, die auf den Aluminiumseilen aufliegen und über die zwei Überfangstücke 5 und 6 geschoben sind. Die Uberfangstücke 5 und 6 sind mit Gewinden versehen. Ein zylindrischer Teil 7 besitzt an seinen beiden Enden entsprechende Gewinde, so daß durch Drehen dieses Teiles die Überfangstücke einander genähert und damit die Konusse fest auf das Seil gepreßt werden.
Es können auch die bekannten Kerbverbinder, Würgeverbinder oder ähnliche Verwendung finden.
